Thanks man I'm really appreciating the help from a more experienced grower!
I was stupid to leave them after what happened last time (broken main stem) 
But I guess I'll know for next time! Hoping the buds fatten up a little more so the main colas join all the way up but I'm super happy with what I've got! Gonna pick up some yeast and make a DIY CO2 maker just to supplement the last few weeks! I guess if the bulk is an 8 week plant she'll be yellowing about now anyway

Beginning of week 7 flowering:
Just a quick lights on update of the girls going in to flower- sorry for the shitty hps photos I couldn't be arsed to take them out the tent lol
Bulk and holy grail are definitely nearly done, their leaves are getting yellower each day! Gonna buy a jewellers loupe this week and start checking the trichs! Really hope they fatten up over the next couple of weeks as I'm not totally happy wit the density of my buds!
Both MK plants are looking nice still got a while to go (they seem really sativa dominant dunno if I got a sativa pheno or the wrong strain haha) . Gonna start them all on 2ml/L of overdrive on the next feed so hopefully we'll see some bec fattening up!

Quick night shot of the holy grail in all her glory, taken lights off day 44 of flowering! Not long now 
I've prime'd a jewellers loupe to start checking trichs so hopefully I can deliver on some closeups! Gonna start germing the autos soon might as well just add it on to the end of this thread haha

Flowering day 47!
My microscope came today so I've checked the trichomes and I've still got a week or so in the hol grail and incredible bulk... The master Kush plants are gonna be an extra week on top of that I reckon! Trichs are clear/cloudy on all without any amber, think I'm gonna harvest at about 10% amber unless anyone ha a better suggestion?

Thanks man, I'm gonna keep them going as long as possible still waiting for the buds to swell up a bit more really! I'll be checking every day so hopefully I'll catch them at the optimum time!

Cloudy cloudy that's good to see wait till there nice and dense all the weight is packed on the bud....I personally harvest when the trics are cloudy...amber trics happen when the plant is going over its best...down to preference really most people like 10 percent amber as a rule...your plants look real good and healthy so just an question of timing.

Ya I think 10% amber is gonna suit me, maybe even 5% as I like a daytime smoke occasionally so don't want too much couchlock haha
You got any idea if these look like they'll put mor weight on? Do they fatten up a lot in the last few days?

as long as your tric's are see through and cloudy you can keep em growing.buds do fatten up the most in the home strait so if you want more weight you'll have to wait!!! keep em growing and they will continue to put on weight...the leaves still have a good bit of green in them the closer you get to the end the more they use the food in the leaves and they yellow keep a close eye on your trics and let them run a little longer is my advice..i let my bulk go too eight and a half weeks had cloudy tric's no ambers on it...the smoke is a mad man properly potent stuff!!! nip a bud now dry it out and give it a go lol...

yeah i'm deffinately gonna wait for that extra weight haha want some nice fats buds
think I'll take one of the lower buds tomorrow when lights go on and give it a quick dry next to my boiler!

Quick update for y'all whilst I've been pruning the girls. Still no amber on the trichomes think they might have another week in me yet! As a sort of experiment I've taken nearly all the fan leaves off the holy grail to expose the lower buds to the prime light so we'll see how that turns out haha
I've just smoked a little joint that I nipped off yesterday but as expected it didn't taste good due to the quick-drying, made me a bit jittery as well for a while so they're definitely not ready!!

Also! Out of interest what's all your opinions on flushing? I've never grown before so I got no experience with either but giving nutes all the way through (no flushing) seems logical to me haha

Start flushing two to three weeks out from finish doing three to one flush with ph balanced water no nutrients.. The reason for this is to get the nutrient taste out of the bud and to let the plant naturally finish using its own nutrients from the leaves...flushing is considered an essential part of the growing process...you can also just cut the nutrients three weeks out and just water this also acts to flush the taste of nutrients out of the bud...nutrient tasting bud is a bit harsh so I would defo flush...excellent grow for you first grow mate knocked it out the park...I did the same on my first grow..lol green fingers!!!!

What autos are you doing I'm vedging auto ultimate and heavyweight fruit punch from the 14 with a view to planting out mid April rinse and repeat until July so am hoping to get twenty across the line this year with the photoperiod plants going out mid June...roll on the outside season I'm doing some plants indoors at the mo check out my blogHaha I guess I should start flushing soon then! That's for all the good vibes man, the end is nearly in sight.... My autos should be popping up anytime in the next 48 hours

The Afghani and the OG kush were free seeds but i'm gonna wack them in anyway and switch to 12/12 after about 2/3 weeks of veg when the autos should start flowering! I've been tempted to sling some seeds out in the garden and just see how they get on, not leccy bill or nutes or anything so it's some damn cheap smoke!
