Day 1 of seedlings need help

hi i just finished germinating my seed and i just planted the seed and i have it running under a 60w cfl bulb about 2-3 inches away and im wondering if i should just put some plastic over cup or keep it under the light and how long will it take to show any site of growth, it is a bagseed.

keep a dome over them for a few days and then take it of

would saran wrap be fine i dont have a dome

Direct light before a seed has even popped isn't a good idea. Placing it in a warm, shaded place is just enough.

use a plastic cu thats just as good
i used bottom half of a 2 ltr bottle cut in half

what do you mean by popped the root has cracked? do you mean by popping out of the surface.

ive heard right after germination and after you plant seed a little light is no problem cause it makes the plant strive for the light. it is a weak cfl.

so keep it in a dark warm place with no light and put saran wrap over

if its popped out plant it and get it under light with some sort of dome anything you can think of or use or do what i said.

job dne m8, just make sure you can see you light plant in full
