The moment the seedling sprouts = Day 1 Veg
The moment I see pistils(after starting 12/12)= Day 1 Flower
Considering it's 3 months from start to finish - I fail to see the relevancy of whether it's day one or not.
When does day 1 start? Is it the first day that fan leaves appear?
People anal.about counting days because it doesn't really matter. The plant tells you when its done not a calendar.
Counting days might make sense if you run clones from the same plant.
Breeder times are just a rough idea and are rarely accurate.
I make a mental note of dates. Its not nessacary. It just doesn't matter to you. Some people care. I wasn't talking about done. I was talking about counting.
What the hell do you count days for?
Oh how many times have i thought "that one grow with that one plant. How many days did i flower that." Comes in real handy to have all that information if you're analytical like i am.
I guess I quit notes like 2009.....I have so many notebooks of them.....I basically do the same thing over and over. All I do is look at the plant and do what needs to be done and harvest when done......Hmm, I bet I take some again when I use the KIND in some playful growing to see what I can do with the line......
Still, days of flower are meaningless. They're done when they're done. Environmental changes effect time. So does other things....
BUT, I do see your point.....Good thing for new growers to do and learn from = notes!
^this I can agree with. When you got 500 plants going with different strains and feeding schedules. Different people working on them. You better be counting days and taking notes. The ol looking at her to see what she needs may work with small grows but not on a large scale. Days of what was done and who did it are essential.
