Day 19 Flowering - How Are My Girls?

Day 19 of flowering. If they don't look 100% to you, I'm currently fighting a fly infestation, but I hope I won the war tonight as I "Raided" the entire house, along with the usual administration of insecticides to the plants themselves. They seem to be extremely healthy to me, despite all this, but I wanted some 2nd opinions. They are under a 250-watt HPS in a hall closet. The really compact one is AK-48, and the other much bushier one is an unknown strain, but certainly seems to contain some sativa-like traits, wouldn't you agree:hump:And yes, I had to show the 6-strings off:blsmoke:Sorry for the shitty photo quality - webcam

Did you spray "Raid" on your plants???

Ah, after reading it again, I see you didn't... Well I hope whatever you are are using is safe.

Neem seed oil-based insecticide. I've been dousing the crap out of them and they don't seem to give a shit. No signs even of slowed growth, let alone leaf burn.

Thanks a lot bro. I didn't actually place them there just for these pics, for the record, lol. They chill there anyway, but the axe is actually a Limited Edition Silverburst.....Epi though.

I didn't veg it as long as the other one, Ralphie, but it's been given sufficient light from the moment it was germinated. I need to check out some other AK-48 pics. I agree with you that it would appear stretched based on the photos here, but I have no idea why it would it be if it actually is. It seems to be a very healthy plant, though. It's much younger than the sativa, but it's almost getting ready to catch it in height, and has a thick, strong stem. And thanks on the guitar compliments

By the way, nobody could possibly identify the sativa-looking one, could they? The buds from which I retrieved the seeds had a very sweet, skunky odor about them, though the person who sold it to me claimed it to be some type of Kush. He may not have known what the hell he was talking about though...

Looking good, i agree one looks stretched but not to bad bring the lights down closer if you can, internodal lenghts will be shorter then and bigger buds, my experience only

What is the shortest safe distance that the very top of either of the plants should be from a 250-watt HPS light? Also, I know a fan actually blowing on the plants themselves is beneficial during veg, but is it also a positive factor during flowering?

He's just jealous because he sits in his nerd dungeon all day playing dungeons and dragons as he tries to flower his plant on 24/0 lighting with a black light.

sorry everyone plays the guitar here I find it quite cliche'
Most stoners like to play an instrument even if they suck at it,a guitar is about the easiest and cheapest way to get into music, obviously you can buy very very expensive guitars but you can also buy one very cheaply.
Music and pot go hand in hand and God probably made pot so we could appreciate music properly.

Just because most people are not eddie van halen doesn't mean that they cannot own and play a guitar after they've had a smoke if they want to.
Making assumptions that everyone has a guitar because its a cliche is a cliche in itself and just plain dumb.:blsmoke:

Plants look small and thin,my advice would be to get an oscillating fan on them and move that 250 watt hps about 10" from the tops.
Feed them molasses once a week at 1 dessert spoon per 3 litres of water as well as your usual nutes:blsmoke:
