How much vertical room do you physically have left if your lights are all the way up? TBH, I've had colas pass the lights before on some of my prior screwups, and the colas were growing past the lights and touching the top of the tent (7' high). It didn't seem to cause those colas issues though. They didn't get light since they grew above the lights, but were huge and dense anyway. Just aim them away from getting burned against the lights as they stretch. Not much more you can do at this point I think.
I have 12" until i hit the light and they are up as far as they can go and i think all of them will pass the light if i flip them now. i guess i will try spreading them out a little more and super crop everything and pray. How long after supper cropping do you think i should wait before correctiing the light cycle.

Correct the light cycle now. Like right now! lol

Then do super cropping as necessary on the tops that want to grow faster than the rest. From my experience praying doesn't help much, but then again I'm not much of a Christian even though I was born Catholic. lol

Ok I appreciate all the advice , I'm in coco, but I'm still worried that the plants have gotten too big for thier pots though. However maybe this will help reduce stretch? I know I can get away with smaller pots in coco but I thought I was pushing it if the roots were more or less done growing haha

From my experience, unfortunately not. Your stretch is mostly genetic based. You could be growing in a red cup full of roots lol, but it doesn't make a difference. Just do what you need to do from the advice given on this thread. Honestly it's about all you can do right now.

Glad you caught it and don't feel like an "idiot" at all...It has happened to many! Me included!! I personally wouldn't trim anything from the top, just re-train them as needed...You'll be ok, you just lost a little time is all.

This is a great idea...If you can post a link to what you're using I'd appreciate it, as would others I'm sure!!

I just got saved by a wireless water monitor I have Christmas morning....we had flooding issues in this area and i got woke up at 3:30am to water entry in my basement, and was able to divert a big mess. This was also about $50 and a gift from my buddy just a month ago...it already saved my ass!!

Govee makes a $15 bluetooth device and a $50 wifi version. I have both and they both work great.
