They are about to get flipped tomorrow morning guys, sorry my stoner ass just procrastinated and didn't get it done yesterday. But this morning I stripped the bottom third off all the Hashberry's and removed all the big fan leaves to let light into the secondary growth areas right along the meristem. I then trimmed the bottom quarter off of all the Super Skunks and removed all big fan leaves from them as well. Light penetration was GREATLY improved, as was air circulation and they are now much easier to water.

The canopy is almost perfectly even, I watered the hell out of em, and after about 18 more hours of light to recover from the trimming they're getting flipped! I'll measure right before I do also.

The time is nigh guys! lol Check back tomorrow...

I finally flipped the lights on em yesterday morning and they're now in 12/12. Everything's looking great and I'll post some pics tomorrow prob.

I did take the measurements right before I turned the lights to the new schedule.

Super Skunks> Min: 13.5", Max: 15".
Hashberrys > Min: 12", Max: 14".

So as you can see there is only a 3" variance in the height of the plants, making for one hell of an even canopy right now. Once they're done stretching then there will prob be a bit more of a spread on em, but right now they're really close. I'm hoping they stay pretty close throughout, but the SS stretches a lot more than the HB. When they're done stretching in about 12 more days I'll measure again.

Hello all, hope things are well with everyone. Took a few pics this morning right before the lights went off, and everything is looking great and they are ever so slowly just starting to stretch a bit, but nothing massive yet. Still waiting on the big stretch to happen.

I should note that because I've been lazy I have thus far left the SolarMax MH bulb in, but I'm going to switch it over the the Hortilux Eye HPS bulb probably tomorrow.

I also haven't switched from veg nutes to bloom nutes yet, but after they get a good flushing here in-between veg and flower (which is the next time they need water, prob tomorrow) I'm going to switch over to the Tiger Bloom. I have however been giving them the Open Sesame soluble for the last two weeks leading up to the flip, so they have been prepared so to speak. Next is a good flush and then on to bloom nutes.

So first up is a group shot, then one of the SS's, then the HB's, and then a side shot to illustrate height. The Hashberrys are already 100% 'stripped' and will require no additional torture. Hehehe The Super Skunks will still need to be stripped down a bit more after the stretch is over when I can then tell which branches to scrap for good.

looking damn good and green dc :blsmoke:

Im still trying to decide on which direction Im gonna go with reguarding supercropping or just letting them grow all natur-AL like you are, but after seeing this update, I think Im gonna try to emulate this style ;-)

Just a few pics to post, as you can see I've yet to swap the bulb out, but that should get done soon. Also, I picked up a clamp-on light fixture and a 68 actual watts, 120 pretend watts CFL bulb to throw in it for supplemental lighting in the flower tent. This was the biggest Homo Depot had.

First is a group shot, then a couple of side shots, then a close-up of a HB plant, and last a close-up of s SS.

OK well the CFL side-lighting is fucking worthless, so that's going back to the Depot today. Might pick up some 2' 2-bulb T5 units instead.

Finished all the lollipopping last night. I could have taken even more branches off, but I left a few lower ones intact on most of the Super Skunks because since I've never actually tried this method before I don't want to take too much off and then regret it later. If the few lower branches left don't start producing soon then I'll just scrap them as well, but I only left ones that looked like they were already starting to produce. Mostly I just left the top third of the meristem intact and a few lower branches. I also cleaned out all the sucker growth and opened up the inside of the plants.

First is the pile of branches and leaves that got cut, then a group shot, then a couple of side shots showing the trim job, and last a pic of an individual SS showing how I cleaned them up.

lookin good man, now let's just see some candy on those lollipops ;-)

i tried the side lighting with some cfl's too and it is pretty damn pointless for how much they actually help(if they help at all lol)

could you remind me how long you veg'd for? bongsmilie

The moms I had been keeping had to go. They had been in the 1.5 gallon pots there for 5 solid months and they were really getting rootbound. They were also collectively gulping down 1/2-2/3 of a gallon of water every day!

So I took like 11 cuts from the Hashberry plant I think it was and 8 from the Super Skunk mom, put them in the tray with the dome on and set them aside to marinate. I gave my boy some big branches off of the HB mom to make clones from, and then I cleaned out all the sucker growth left on em and lollipopped em and threw their raggedy old asses in the flower tent. lol The HB plant looks like shit but we'll see what she does. Even if they barely produce I didn't want to just throw them away. The SS prob will produce a decent amount, but since they're so tall they aren't getting a lot of light because they're up higher than the light's footprint almost. Like I say, these are just a bonus so whatever they do is fine.

A pic of the moms in their new home, and one of them up close. That HB is nasty looking. lol Hopefully it turns into a budstick.
