I was thinking the other day when I could not get access to the site that it could possibly be a DDoS attack, I am going to float this, but I think it may have been the LP shill that has been flooding our site as of lately.
If Sunni has any way to look into this that would be good.

Anyways I am glad RIU is back. Fuck the fake hackers.... I say Fake because DDoS is some punk way to attack a site when you do not know how to really hack.......

Sure didn't seem like a DDOS attack. Never seen a DDOS attack take down a site completely for several days. Make a site slow and unresponsive, sure, but completely offline? Seems very odd,

This was their facebook post about it:

"We are currently experiencing some downtime due to a hardware issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we thank you for your patience.
At this time we do not have a current ETA of when the issue will be resolved, however, we are working to resolve it."

Sorry could you elaborate, sounds interesting.
I am one of the main guys who exposed that chump, I was the person who explained what an SEO is, I know from when I used to work in a room full of SEO guys, a lot of them are pricks and think they are some kind of net gods, and I know when you step on their toes the way I did and hippy did and ultimately Sunni banning them after I told her what an SEO is and how they operate, I just feel like it was an attack from them, in the SEO world we use sites like fiver to get things done like rewriting of articles and things of that nature, but people on other more dark sites sell DDoS services.

I think with the timing of it all, I would say 90% chance it was them, they have an LP budget, they can afford to pay the folks, and if you think about it, the LPs have a lot to lose, not just in Canada, but on the world market, I recently heard Tweed might branch out to Michigan? I would say a site that down talks them, promotes their faults and at the same time gives people power by giving the information needed to grow is a major threat to them.

It is funny and sad at the same time to think some loser prick sitting in their room for 5 days jerking off to the fact they took RIU off line, what a loser. I hope you brag about it to the wrong person and I find out. I will come for you, I will send the dogs.

A Denial of service attack can absolutely take down servers. Ask Sony. Theirs went down for over two weeks a few years ago. And I can guarantee they have a better server set up than RIU
