personally if you want good meds let nature take its course and use jars ,curing is the most important part if you truly want the smoothest tastiest smoke its all your preference

use a dehumidifier if you cant keep the % around 50 %. other than that I have noticed that they will dry it too fast and you end up with the hay smell.

depends on your growroom size. for me i got a 250watt Wood's dehumidifier fow like 250$ a few years back and it works like a charm. it is a necessary investment if you grow big thick buds i fire it up for a whole 3 weeks at the end of flowering and it is great, makes the buds thicker and frostier, much better harvest. IMO it's a great investment. however i never used it in drying plants except if want to quickdry a bud which i chopped before flowering, i would hang it infront of my dehumidifier and in 24hours or so it's smokable. not what you want when you're curing a harvest. i only put a fan on for the first 2 days or so then shut it off and let them slowly dry...

I just use an air conditioner. RH is kept about 55% outside the jars and RH fluctuates inside the jars as the buds cure slowly receding down to about55%
