I just bought this GH dual diagphram airpump. The Hydro Source has them on sale for about $50. I picked up a reconditioned one for $40.
I got sick of using the little aquarium air pumps. At 3L/min they dont push enough air for my bubble cloner to get even distribution of spray. I've had to use both output ports to drive a single air line and even then it's marginal.
This thing is 20L/min. Has a nice steel four point mainfold with valves. The base sits on rubber shock absorbers and it is suprisingly quiet.
It's always nice to have a port or two available for things like aerating water etc.
