Deer eatting clones outside! Help

Hello all, I went out and checked on my stealth grow to find 3 of my 9 inch plants have been eaten expect for the stems... what are some ways to stop these fucks from eatting the plants?! it might be slugs but im pretty sure its deer due to how it looks chewed off, any help would be great this really pissed me off not a great way to start the season!

I have never had a problem w deer but I have heard if you piss all around your area it will keep them out.

they sell deer repellent i think you apply it every 2weeks or so

yeah i heard that before and ive never had issues before either but i guess they found the tender shoots tastey, grrr lol well ill try that see what happens, but if anyone else knows any other way let me know

deer repllent? its like a spray is it? you put it on the plants or?

i would just use chicken wire around the plant until it is a couple feet tall, then they should just walk right pass it

i use a deer spray called 'plantskid', its some sort of pig blood i think. it smells disgusting but works amazing. i have to spray them every week or they get eaten, tons of deer in the area. also garden centers sell other types of spray to keep deer away

a few more ideas I have found very effective

Neem oil it is bitter and the deer don't like it and it repels bugs and is good for the plant. Mix 3 to 7 ml with a leter of water and a coup of drops of liquid detergent in warm water and shake all the time and spray away and don't forget to spray underneth also.

Irish spring soap. THE REGULAR KIND IN THE BLACK AND GREEN BOX. Poke a few holes in the box with a screwdriver and drop then on the ground about 5 to 10 feet from the plants. Should last the season. Have done this for ten years and no deer problems.

Wolf piss from the hunting store.

Always piss near your plants this helps to.

Here is another tip, slugs love pot plants to stop them wrap some copper mesh or copper wire losley around the stem and no more slugs. Copper burns them.

Another tip to retain water, toss in a baby diper or two face up in the bottom of the hole first than add soil and plant. The dipers hold tons of water for those dry times.

I've been drinking a few beers the night before I go to my plot, I pee in bottles and bring them with to mark my territory to keep those bastard deer away.

cant coment on deers but we have major problems with cats and squirrels and foxes try the pissing method apparently amonia keeps them away works for us in uk

I use booth 1/4 in square wire and deer/rabbit reppelant.

The spray has realy worked for me, but i keep cages for camo, protection from wind an hail, If my spay fails tha cages will protect em.

put up some stakes around your plot (or if you have trees) and wrap fishing line around them to act as a fence. one run close to the ground, one a little higher, and a third should do the trick

Also if your interested ill be doin up my journal soon for my outdoor grow which will be with 20 some odd plants 5 diff strains 2 blueberry variations, purple kush, some sort of mighty might cross, and last but not least aan unkown strain which is suppose to produce hella budz, it has very interesting leaf formation and looks alot diff then most plants so it should be interesting, the buddy i got it from didn't have a name for it but i guess we'll see how it does and name it from there!

Deer love weed...your young ones are like fuken candy to the little fukers. You can go ahead and spray your plants all you want.... that stuff works, but you spend money on it when you dont need to repeatedly throughout the grow season! Chicken wire and piss man thats all you need.... I also wrap some door screen around the sides and sometimes make a cover out of door screen too if I get spooked thinking somehting might be eating my babies! Spend all you want - repeatedly, endlessly- not saying it doesnt work cause a lot of products work very well, but they will get pricey and you might find it a little tire some to have to keep track of all that on top of your grow! What ever suites your needs better I guess!

hahaha no worries bro, yeah im thinkin of just doin that cheaper and works fine, my dog also comes with me out to the grow and he does some pissing but i think the deers didn't smell it because from the time he pissed in there and what not too the time i came back it rained heavy so probably washed that shit away but yea ill fuckin put up some defenses, every second im away from my plants im imagianing the fuckers havin their way with them thoughs dirty fucks
