Deficiencies & ADVANCED NUTRIENTS

Yeah never use the full dose of the A/B. I always go with like half the dose on the AB cause that moves your ppm the most. But the additives I stick to full dose. Also check your run off EC and PH. Even if you’re feeding low dose runoff could be high if not enough run off.

The culprit will be your pH. Rust spots and leaf curl point to your pH being off. I would definitely dial back the amount of additives until you get them growing normal again.

When adding that many additives the pH will go down significantly. After everything is added adjust your pH accordingly.

I would flush the plants well with ph'd water. Then feed with 25% strength base A&B. Keep that pH dialed and slowly add back the additives.
Hurry up and wait. pH PERFECT ®

I water 15 to 20% runoff so cut A & B in half use my additives. Cool. And ppm of runoff should be less than that of nutrient solution. . Thanks again for your help.

They don’t say they keep your soil ph perfect lol
I start out with 7.6ph water from tap. 4ml of A + 4ml B of the connoisseur nutes per gal bring the solution to 6.5. Add anything else, and you pretty much void that guarantee.
Customer support people said pH meters are inaccurate when used to measure pH PERFECT ®. Honestly? I guess I know what he thinks. I was dumb enough to pay for it so I'd buy that too. It drops like a rock down 4.5 that is additives alone. Using tap water with out setting for hours? I use distilled water. Wow I can save the money for my inflation fund.

I’ve been running same nutes as you for years, and my shit is fire. Back off the nutes. Unless your pushing 1000 ppfd at the canopy you should never need to break 1000 ppm. Under hps I rarely go over 900ppm. Under led I have to had add cal
Mag and feed higher, but I’m pushing really high ppfd and even then im only at 1200 ppm. And that’s with c02 and a fully sealed room.

Anyways what im really saying is cut your feed and you should see good results.

Should have spent time on Rollitup instead of YOUTUBie. The information can be overwhelming when keeping it simple works. Didn't know I was shooting myself in foot. Can you mix Calmag in with A&B or what? .

That’s their scapegoat excuse when the nutes ph don’t fall in line with their claims. I check it always idc what they say. Idc what the breeder says about harvest time, nor do I have any faith in the feeding schedules on the side of these nute bottles. I feed full strength advanced nutes to my veg plants & they look at me like “is that all you got punk?” Lol
Way more BS out there than there’s actually useful info. The companies want you to spend more.

I don’t think you need any. I add to my water before the others. That being said I’d back off to 800-900 ppm or even less if you don’t have a very bright light. For future reference feed charts are like the max. Best to start at half and work up.
