They look fine, try up potting them.
I just repotted them 3 days ago from 1.5 g to 3 g. I want them to finish in 5 g but right now they are barely 1 ft tall. Should I have more distance from light so they stretch a bit?

Then theyre likely just in light shock from x planting. Give them time. I wouldn't purposely stretch plants imo.
But the purpling leaf stems and yellowing new growth and shouldn't they be a fair bit bigger

Purple stems can be from exposure to strong light aswell. New growth is always slightly lighter in colour. You could have a slight deficiency(maybe from a slight overwater) (iron) or damaged some roots during the transplant. Just give it time

I'm not seeing any purple leaves some times it's gencit but can be cal-mag being low but keep an eye on it you should be fine as always thank you for your time and the best wishes to you and your

Perhaps if I had all the ingredients a bit more dialed in then they would grow faster...
Thank you. I suspected a slight iron deficiency from poor watering practices and ph fluctuations. I just recently got an hm ph pen and was getting the hang of it. Before 2 weeks ago I was using the drops and trying to determine the colour.

Are those areas in direct light? All strains are different and some just do that.
It is DIY surround lighting. About 600 watts worth.
Strains are l.a. con. And I have crown royale that is half the size of l.a.'s
