Need recommendations for good stand alone dehumidifier, no space for ceiling mount.

Had a 75 pint that was not cutting it in flower with RH still at 70%, could not pull down to 50%

Limited options where i am, no local quests and very little market for them. Anything above 13 gallons is $2-3K plus

Anyone tried china style dehumidifiers?

Thanks !

Not all dehumidifiers are equal in my experience and a large part of me wonders if your dehu has degraded performance.

I think mine is a Chinese made one found it free on FB market place no markings on it. Worked perfect. I run a drain hose from mine out of the room and into plumbing. Do you have that option?

I am space limited and did not get a chance to try out 2x 35L before everything was done.
The brand i have is good but not made to handle this type of stress. It was few hundred $
If none are used RH can reach 90% just inside with no plants !
I am open to Chinese but wonder when desiccant is used over refrigerant ?

RH can be 70-80 inside a room even no with no plants, then room going through 20L a day and RH high with wet weather and the 75 pint cant cope. I found some china models i may have to try, if they are oversize they will be on less often i guess. Was just curious what everyone else did that isnt quite at a quest level but beyond what ebay/amazon has to offer.

i have a suggestion im having a similar problem in a 9x9 room. i have a 70 pint it keeps up when lights are on at 50% rh when the a/c is running more however on lights off the humidity creeps up to around 65%. i tried setting the dehu at a lower rh% that didnt work. then i added another 25 pint dehu also didnt work. put the 25 pint dehu on continuous mode rather than using a sensor. then it was too dry during lights on due to it constantly running. im going to try putting the 25 pint on a timer to fire up an hour after lights off after all the air and co2 in the room are exchanged. maby that will work for you.
