Dehumidifier recommendation 90% rh outside of tent ?

So my house ATM is sitting between 80-90% humidity . With the windows open its about 78% which is still high .

I have a dehumidifier for the tent but it's a 300ml.it does the job for a small tent bit not for the house .

I will eventually focus on property ventilating this place but atm I need a powerful dehumidifier to get multiples rooms down by about 40% rh

Can anyone recommend which would be best

An AC unit or a dehumidifier how many litres would be optimal in this case ?

I think AC plus dehu. I have a GE but I think any of the main brands are comparable. Just make sure it’s sized to your room.

Ac with dehumidifier mode will pump hot air out your house through its exhaust duct.
A stand alone dehumidifier will pump out warm air to your rooms.
So in the summer the ac dehumidifier
does double duty.

I’ve owned two dehumidifiers, the higher cost does not necessarily mean better. Plan to spend $100-150 for a 40-50pint and you should be good.

I’m not sure about AC/Dehuey units our summers are super dry, but if you can get an AC that does a minimal of 30 pints as a dehuey that would probably suffice.

Just understand these Ac units are inefficient, they work don’t get me wrong but a mini split and a dehumidifier would be so much better (minus initial cost)

Most units have a hose attachment to drain directly into a bigger bucket/or to a drain of some sort.
