Dehumidifier Water

Is there any reason I shouldn't use the water my dehumidifier pulls out of the air. I was thinking about using for my nutrient solution? It is about 16 ppm as it comes out of the bucket. The water comes out of my RO system at about 24 - 27 ppm.

I am pulling about 10+ gallons of water out of the air a week, should help cut down on the work my RO system has to do each week.

Is there a mold issue or something I am not thinking about?

Thanks for your help.

I see no reason not to use it, although I have never bothered to set it aside for later use.

it is dirty water from what I have heard,.. it has bacteria in it as well... I wouldnt use it
He just said it is 16ppm. That's not dirty. I just don't see the need if you have ro water.

Dont use it. It is waste water and contains bacteria as well.

I don't see an issue with using the dehumidified water. Can someone provide a good example of research done to prove that it is filled with bacteria? 16ppm is lower than most RO water.

You are right. The dehumidifier is much like a distillation unit. Any unit could have bacteria in it, if you never clean or change the filters.
