Green Supreme says:

OK heard a little story yesterday went something like this.

Buddy has a friend who is in a wheelchair ,for whatever reason. He had an mmar and wanted to move and drop his DG, for this fellow. This fellow is a very persistent and got on the phone right away with HC.. He claims he found out they are going to end the DG program. Substituting it for a caregiver system. Caregivers will be allowed to help 10 people.

The idea here is to get rid of the large scale DG grows created by organized crime. They will not be allowed to renew their licenses.

In the case of a move, the patient has to live in the same city as the caregiver.

This is the second person so far we have heard this from. Perhaps HC is planning ahead for grandfathering the mmar licenses.

Real or not, only time will tell. Peace GS

well that don't make any sense. stop large dgs and allow 10 patients for caregiver? what rules and bs does a CG need? are they allowed to grow? .

I did get ahold of a manager when mmar was going on. Somehow when i called the CDSA hotline and i started speaking about marijuana she transfered me and the person was able to pull up my file unlike the 1800 call centre.

Yeah this basically sounds like BS.

1st - Who are 'they'? Allard isn't finished, and it's quite clear the govt position is LP's only. So it's clearly not the federal government, and at this point legislatively they're the only ones holding the keys.

2nd - 'They are going to end the DG program'

They already have, so this isn't news.

3rd - 'Perhaps they are planning ahead for grandfathering DG licenses'

This is an outside possibility, but given HC's response to R v Smith if given the choice they'll drag their feet.

This sounds like a 'my dad's friend works at nintendo' type of thing :)

Maybe HC is taking a look at the score card and is already preparing for their defeat? They were pretty dam quick to respond to the Smith decision.

There only giving out medical documents for 5 grams now. So how many plant you need for 50 grams a day total?

Under the old system it would have been 20 per patient with a 5 g script.
So 200 for 10 patients.
But plant counts are sooo stupid.
A sog from seed yield of 200 vs a regular two month veg grow of 200 would be night and day but somehow be considered equal?
I really hope they figure out a better way to quantify plant to grams per day

5gpd = 25plants under MMAR

250 plants, easy enough to achieve the numbers but lets come back down to reality lol never going to happen
Oh dont get me wrong i totally agree.
Most of us will probably be dead and gone before any of this gets seriously discussed but at the same time id rather guess about these details than continue kicking lps like every other discussion turns to.
I just read the details of the colorado home grows because those are always raved about and i dont think they are even enough.
12 plants max per house regardless of adult numbers.f that
But the old mmar numbers are just as unrealistic

Yes..its a much more realistic way to gauge production
I guess its a start. Certainly better than just throwing out plant numbers like they are all the same like jacks magic fukin beans.
Ive also read compelling argument about sq fottage/grams per day but its all so variable.
