Gained a follower and you've given me ideas. I like the platforms you have your plants on! I'm got my tent in a garage and the concrete floor would be too cold for my smart pots/roots.

How often do bulbs burn out? I skimed over the first 2 pages but I'll read the whole thing later today I need sleep LOL.

Nice grow!

Day 32

humidity wants to sit at about 55% after watering. Cant seem to get it lower till a few hrs later. I think this room is too crowded. As long as i can control humidity i guess thats a good problem to have.

last weekof big bud before switching to overdrive. Aiming for a 10 week harvest
Looking perfect! Day 32 of flower? I wish I had gotten the 5 x 10 grow room after see your pictures.. I really really like your reservoir watering system. How much did that cost? I just hand water everything but the last few days after using molasses can mess with soil when drying up a tad bit too much.

Been reading how 5 gallon smart pots can be watered like 3 times daily sometimes! I'm only giving 1 gallon per 5 gallon pot every 3 to 4 days ..its been 5 now on some LOL

1/ 3 hp pump at amazon 55$
garden hose to 1/2" reducer ( for pump)
100 ft of vinyl line
three barbed 1/2" tee
two half inch shutoff valves in case of leak
1/4 " drip hole puncher
barbed tees 50 pack
1/4" spaghetti drip line

I made drip rings but id prolly just stake the 1/4" lines with open ends next time around. Id also buy 1/4" micro flow controllers to dim down the ones getting more pressure at the begining of the loop

assembly as follows:

Pump to reducer
reducer to 1/2" line
1/2" line to 1/2" barbed tee
split to each side. 1/2" line
shutoff valve to 1/2" and another 1/2" tee
Take vinyl line 1/2" and make a circle loop of in the middle your pots
pop in the barbed tees with equal spacing around the whole loop and run 1/4 " line to ur plants.
id put micro flow controllers which are baby regulator valves somewhere along the 1/4" line so u can adjust it.

thats it. Super ez. Maybe 100-125$ total to build.

heres another option. Buy a 150 gph pump stick it in the bottom of ur resevoir. Attach a 20 ft 1/2" vinyl on line. At the end of the hose, feed it through a 3/4" pvc pipe roughly 2 ft long. Attach the end of the vinyl line to a 1/2" to 3/4" npt adapter 90 degree. U now have a 40 dollar watering system thats ez to stretch under the pots and u can water super evenly with a spout.

hit me up with any questions. Got all kinds of ideas lol

you should also try coco loco soil its a 50% amended coco blend. Less nutrition than ffof but it dries out alot quicker and more aeration. Cut it with about 40% perlite. Ull have a forgiving medium with coco watering qualities. Ffof dried out extremely slowly and u have to water it slow or u get alot of dry spots. It doesn't spread moisture well. Im watering almost 70 gallons a week in pure coco/perlite mix right now. If u go pure coco like botanicare ull like the resultsbut its about a ton of work. Growth rates are at minimum1/4 fasterif not 1/2

Would you believe it if I told you that I found the holy grail of grow building materials lol ... I even seen the barbs and some pvc pipes. Happy I grabbed it all for the price I paid. I'll be making a drip system for my next grow. Thanks again!

All for about $20 ...score!

Just make sure if ur making drip rings that you drill some decent size holes. If u try to punch them, they will squirt everywhere or clog like crazy. Check into these too

Thank you so much for all your ideas! I posted a video on my journal of what I somewhat plan on doing after looking into many different methods and different ways of watering.

Going with whats simple and easy to set up for now. I need to get a 20 gallon tub and the washers and DIY a gravity drip system. I'll be able to pop into the garage and just have my water ready to dump into the tub and out it goes to my girls. I think I might get those micro fittings you linked as flow regulators, just fill up my reservoir then open up the main valve that shoots it off to all my drip rings.

Gravity works great and super cheap. I built mine to be automated but i end up watching it anyway lol. Nutrients dont seem to hold ph well enough so i have to watch everything before i water. I need new ro filters and it probably stabilize a bit. I initially tried to just puncturd holes to do a slow drip but instead it shot out like a stream or some of them had no flow so i ended up just drilling them out. I didnt use those flow regulators this time around but i should of. If ur using soil just be careful of even watering. Soil doesnt saturate as evenly as coco. Oh also especially with fox farm, the nutrients will settld at the bottom and look like sediment. Make sure u put a small agitator pump in ur res. My suggestion to you would be to buy a 32 gallon trashcan. Mix ur nutes in that and then pump it to ur gravity system on a timer that way u can have a large resevoir wih aeration and agitation as well as a time released gravity feed that u dont have to watch

Day 40 . Looks like this shit is going the distance. Had to cut out the scrog, it wasnt doing any good any more. Branches were tipping all the way over at 45 degree angles. Had to stand them up with bamboo

Other side (2nd pic) hasnt been done yet
