Got some clones rooting from them now but the next strain after these will be Strawberry Sour Diesel x Candyman Haze. I consider this my signature strain; need this one back in my life. Def my favorite cross so far...time to start poppin beans again
Can’t wait to see this grow. I’m going to do a similar cross in the future with Bodhi’s Strawberry goji x Runtz (cannaventure) once I actually grow them out. Only have a 2x2 though lol. How would you describe your Ssd x cmh cross? you need to name it !

I would describe it as sour diesely yet berry sweet all at once. I hereby name it Strawberry sour diesel x candy man haze. What’s nice about this cross is you get slightly larger more bulbous bud structures from the cmh daddy yet the flavor is distinctively NY sour D. The original devils harvest SSD mother strain was not known to be a huge yielder.

Hope the grow finishes well for you sir.

Yes very much so! Got the 3500 kelvin...why? Guess I wanted an all purpose spectrum; I have no idea what the actual difference is between them other than the vague description on the Timber ordering page. Was always intended to replace the 600w HPS dedicated to the bloom room. The Redwood VS is brighter and has a wider and more even spread than my old HPS; 6 COB leds distribute the light better than a single point of incandescent light could without hot spots and at a cooler temps.
The grow never finishes. It’s perpetual been watching for a few years now
Yep...shit never stops...the goal remains as always to just keep from running out of weed. We seem to smoke it faster than we can possibly grow it...

No reason, just curiosity sir. I have used both a 3000k and 3500k of the timber leds and from my noob experience didn't really notice much of a difference. I'm excited to see your take on the timbers though as I have obtained so much info about organics from you so your perspective on the leds will be nice to hear about.

As always, wish you the best moving forward.

the bottom buds look just as good as the tops but I think I gotta pull the light up a bit more.
Buds look amazing on these. How much longer are you thinking on these?

Also, if you don't mind, what's your take on how late into flowering you can use fish hydrolysate? I ask because I went a bit lighter/later on my first topdress in flower this run. So just now threw some fresh ewc on top again and watered in with some hydrolysate. I'm a little over 4 weeks in flower now and am hoping it was still alright to hit them with a little more N. Just getting a bit skeptical of some purpling around the edges of the leaves this early, so figured the fish was pretty balanced and hit a lot of the possible needs.

These SSD X CMH crosses take 10 weeks to get rock hard nuggets. You can give liquid fish up to week 8 or even later if you want but after say week 7 or so I usually just let it ride as is; water only. If you are seeing deficiencies in organic soil it’s already too late; not that giving soluble npk won’t help. I have other plants that are yellowing fast early in week 7 and plan to give them some Neptune’s harvest. They are kinda ugly looking so no pics lol.. It won’t make them fully green again but that’s not the goal; just need them to stay healthy until harvest. You will notice the fans yellowing off and dying off later in flower; this is normal. Be concerned when you see the sugar/bud leaves turning color before ripening phase.

Thanks man, appreciate your input as always. Things are still looking ok here, I just get skeptical being in 3 gallon pots. Did just notice a bud grew out of the middle of a fan leaf on the plant showing some purples, so I'll take that as a sign things can't be too bad..

I plan on keeping it mostly water only from here out after the fish/topdress today. Prolly a little coconut water powder and maybe a light kelp tea in the future. This strain went a little under 9 weeks I think last time, so just about halfway there now.

Well fuck it....here’s some ugly ass plant pics..buds are looking good; some of these plants? not so much. I’ve had to tie these all kinds a ways to keep the heavier colas off the floor. This is due to overcrowding issues in veg phase. The bud structures here are the result of light manipulation and old timey bro science.
:bigjoint:
This one is starving....gave them all an EWC, kelp, and fish bone meal top dress last week which apparently did nothing. Just gave her some liquid fish...so let’s see what happens. Week 6

The plant in front is almost done; maybe just another week or two.

Photo-bomb!..the plant in back has massive cola buds but doesn’t seem happy about it....three more weeks to go on her at least.

3 gallon pots could be the cause of many issues. Go bigger if you can. I find 7gal pots optimal for my space but as you can see even bigger containers cannot sustain plants forever. The reason my mix is falling off now is because it is just bagged FFOF soil; has not been recycled. Ran out of my own mix last run but it is now fully recharged. Next grow should be better. Soil gets better with every run; takes a few recycles to reach the coveted supernatural status.

Hopefully a legit set up is in the near future for me, these past two runs have just been makeshift and slapped together with what I have right now. I did grab some new lights for the last run, but that's about it. Meet with my real estate agent this week so hope the future is bright..

I'm always digging what you have going though man and wish nothing but good things moving forward for you. Can only get better as you dial in the new leds too I'm sure.

I’ll post some pics of some of prettier finished nuggets once they get into the jars. I’m finding the lower bud to be just as tight as the tops; hardly any trim or loose bud to run as concentrate. Very impressed with the Redwood VS
