Did anyone play Fable for the XBOX?

this is really random. but I have a question for anyone who played Fable.

The game is backwards compatible for the xbox360, I don't have my old xbox anymore. Anyway, I played through the original game on my 360 and just picked up, Fable: lost chapters for kicks... and I have to start the game all over? my old profile isn't there.. wtf..

Does anyone know what this is all about

i had the first game. kicked ass, i played it through like 3 times. so lost chapters is supposed to detect your profile? i just want to make sure i'm understanding here.

im pretty sure you just have to start over most games that have xpacks come out for them on console you have to start over i beleive like oblivion and its xpack

oblivion? oblivion wasn't an expansion. 'twas another chapter of yon elder scrolls.

I dunno I thought it saved it and it was like bonus stuff to do after.. i thought that lost chapters was an expansion. but its just like.. the same game. with xtra quests.

I dunno. i guess i got confused

pretty much one of the best games so far. the world is so huge in that game. plus, there are expansion packs out now

The lost chapters is basically the same game with new quests like you said. Same storyline, main characters etc. Pretty much if you didn't buy Fable when it originally came out, grab the lost chapters if you want the same experience as Fable plus a little more. I went into gamestop to buy it and the guy working talked me out of it, I the same as you, thought it was an add on, sequel type of deal. Morrowind was a little too overwhelming for me, you guys/girls that play that stuff are a special bunch!

Never played it on XBOX, but i have for PC. it's a fun fuckin game, if you want a game to beat really quick, and completely obliterate fools!

This is because your profile and save game info is on the hard drive in your old XBOX.
Fable is tons of fun...Jade Empire is great also.

I love to smoke a tasty bowl or two and wander around in a make believe world!!

yeah oblivion was not an expansion but they made another version of obkivion with the expansion in it and if you play on console vs pc im pretty sure you would have to make a new character i could be wrong though i never played the expansion i just kind of assume this is how it woould work
