You got a journal by chance?
I haven’t done one this round but I can go snap a few pics. The proof will be in the pudding I think.. I’m only on day 49 flower and am very surprised at how dense everything is.
supposedly you can run full flowering time at 13/11 using end of day and 12/12 will shave a week or two off. Using the 13/11 will end up with higher yield just take a bit longer.. I wouldn’t be surprised if these are ready at week 8, but most likely I will let them go 9-10 weeks anyways

if there is any benefit of doing this why people doing this?
Don't think there are many people doing it, but if there are then I have a whole lot of ideas on my drawing table that have been waiting

1) Robot Deer that wakes up twice a day and takes a bite out of your plants and knocks the best one down.
2) Room mister that waits till 3 weeks before harvest and induces bud rot into your best colas.
and I really think the 3rd one could be a hit
3) Nanno-bot controlled locust because nobody should be able to escape the wraith of nature.

Be really interested to see how the UV does the trichomes. I've heard good things. Know some locals that flower w/ hps. Gave dude a clone last year, mine outside, his under 1000w. His had fatter buds but mine won out because they were far stickier. Hearing that's courtesy uv

Here we are day 48 of 12/12 . If these are 70 day strains, and EOD shaved off 2 weeks they should be "ready" in 8 days. What do ya'll think? I took some under the lights some with flash and some no flash. I don't think those look ready in 8 days, there are some that look like they got another month.
I agree, but the trich coverage is all there. Perhaps I fed too much on the smaller plants with the cupping. The ones with the fat buds don't seem to have much burn at all besides from a few mishaps of forgetting to water (using coco coir)

They are quite green but some fading at the bottom, maybe a little too much N slowing down flowering rate could be happening too

The smaller budded plants are purple crunch from greenpoint and the larger budded ones are Peyote Gorilla by Seedsman

it "appears" like it actually shaved a few days ...not sure ...obviously the naked eye aint shit. 48 days is looking real good!

i ask everyone: how many watts you got in there and how big is your coverage area ? Thanks bud! (close to switching but need more input)

My maximum output in that 5x5 for leds is 1015 watts but I run them a bit softer. I’m not really sure what the output is right now I’m new to leds as well

I've definitely seen arched motorized rails where the rows get a sunrise and sunset. Would be interesting to see it coupled with a change in spectrum. I know for 100% that some grows use intermittent blasts of UV fluorescents to increase resin production. There is a lot of potential here but I wonder if upkeep and replacement costs eventually start to creep in on any real benefits in terms of bang for your buck.

Probably depends on if you're growing for your wallet or your head

Lots of trichomes, they seem small to me. Maybe strain, maybe technique. Definitely very good looking flowers. Ol man was a big believer in leaving them out till the last possible second (outdoors) in the quest for the stickiest/smelliest buds he could get. I wonder what they'd look like at day 70
