Did extreme heat ruin my crop? Help!

I got up this morning and my AC somehow got switched to a timing mode and shut off. Temp when I entered was 99. Got it fixed but my 6 plants may have been in very high heat for 4 hours. Will they all turn hermie? Should I give them thrive alive? Damn my first grow mistakes lead to hermies.

They will be fine. It gets that hot outdoors all the time :-)
They are on second week of flowering and I made all the newbie mistakes last grow you could possibly do. Too many nutrients, terrible ph, too hot for 5 days, light leak. I am so worried I will turn these 6 to hermies

I only wish I could shoot them with a flame-thrower as punishment for your violating the Rules of Ideal Growing Conditions.
you will turn them into compost, not hermies.

light!
medium!
temp!
water!
air!

Anyone know how long before I know if they covert to hermies from this? Week? 2 weeks? Or will this stress leave me checking until harvest?

Think good thoughts. We make our own destiny!

Once they start budding up, you will eventually be able to tell. Although the one time I had hermies, I saw nothing until I popped one open at harvest. But they were clones of my first grow which was an absolutely hideous thing that I caused to herm but didn't realize because I knew nothing and she only had about two seeds in the 1/8 oz she generated.

Is that it? What a stringy stemmy fucking gangly lookin thing that is. You will be lucky to get a smoke out of it after harvest and its always hot in there to cause this mega stretch.

Sorry for confusing. That pic is not from OP. That pic was me showing my pathetic first grow that hermied and yielded an eighth. Grew her under under a couple of good ole school incandescent "grow" bulbs then read a shitty grow book which said touse red light so I bought a red floodlight. Bottom fed her from day one as it was easy, of course had root rot.

But.... at the end I came here, got the passion, and learned. So I consider that second grow, with clones from that pathetic one, that ended up hermie, to be my first real grow. They may have been predestined to herm, but I grew them right.

But to OP, just wait...Sorry, wasn't trying to hijack.

It is unlikely 4 hours of heat 2 weeks in are going to cause your plants to hermie. If they do, they probably would have anyway as this would be indicative of a very unstable strain. I have a strain that hermies no matter what I do right in the end, they'll pop some bananas. Fortunately, the pollen they produce isn't viable and rarely produces a seed. I run perpetual in this room so there are plants at 4 different stages of flowering.

I have another strain that I have made every mistake in the book with and couldn't get her to spit out a male flower if I tried.

Keep in mind if you are planting a seed that you found in a bag of high grade, it is likely the product of self pollination and will almost always produce a hermie in the end. This doesn't mean the smoke is bad and it doesn't mean seeds 100% of the time.

Thanks for your reply. All my plants but one are clones from first grow which is messed up, but learned a lot. My 5 clones came from Herbies Head Shop in Europe. All feminized seeds. Hopefully that place sells good genetics. Anyone know?

Just do your best to keep her happy and you'll get something in your bag in the end. Even if it's not perfect, you know where it came from and what's on it.

Hang out at a local grow shop for an hour and you'll see all kinds of toxic stuff go out the door. Never know what's been sprayed on this stuff. Eagle20 is for golf courses, yet is is used often.

Let us not forget she's a weed and a very hardy one at that.

Here are some pics of my medical plants that got cooked. Image 1-3 are all white widow, pic 4 is THC bomb, pic 5 is critical mass, pic 6 is Northern lights x Skunk1. My 3rd White widow is fairly droopy. I think in such a hot room, being near the fan, makes it worse with extremely hot air being blown on it. My NLSK looks a little too light green (image 6). It was flushed a few days ago.
