Did I wait too long to harvest?

I am growing a bag seed and it's been in flower for 2 months. The plant is a total of 4 months from seed. I read somewhere that the longer you wait to harvest, the more potent the buds will be. Is that true? Is 2 months too long for flowering?

2 months is basically the minimum flowering time.

Let's see some pics of your plants please. We can give you a general guage of how much longer they might have.

No that is not true, at least not that simplified. It depends on many things. Do you have pics of your plants to post? The number of weeks is irrelevant as each strain is different. Many strains take up to 3 months, more if you count the couple transition weeks. Post some pics and we can help more. Welcome to RIU.
