Don't use Tiger Bloom yet, if you have big bloom go for it, but I think Tiger bloom is really strong at this stage. For the later stages of flowering it is fine. With Big bloom though its so hard to burn your plants. I water mine every other watering with big bloom and she perks up and stands strong each time.
Well i see pre-flowers so i switched my 250w cfl to a 2700 one.
Not even 1 tbs per gallon of tiger bloom?

Id go very light on the TB It can seriously burn these and yours look well fed so far. I say feed at 1/4 strength in a week. Just try to check the pH of the water before and after adding the tiger bloom, it will make it more acidic than needed.

Edit- here is a pic after she received a good feeding of big bloom. Tiger bloom honestly would be good when they are hungry. Now they are teenagers, they want snacks ya know? not a full plate of ribs... damn that got me hunrgy haha

I've noticed the same thing with big bloom!! That stuff is great.. When would you recommend to start using t/b because on the FF chart is says to use it around the 5th week?? Obviously work into it slow at 1/4 strength.

Edit, I just read your post above. Here is the link to the FF Feeding Chart! For those that haven't seen it.

Plants are lookin great so far harth, keep up the good work!

Learn to read your plants. They are just as alive as we are and even though we can't have a conversation with them we can sense when they are hungry. Usually when the leaf color from the top down starts to lighten to a yellow green to a yellow even. I honestly suggest chakra meditation especially more towards the 3rd eye to raise your intuition. Yes you can be telepathic towards your plants, just gotta be aware. Sort of micro sense things. Maybe take some mushrooms, or dmt and talk to your plants haha you can learn a lot!

And whenever you do use tiger bloom make sure to flush sometime so the salts don't build up. Wouldn't want that now. I am planning on a general flushing the last two weeks before harvest.

I hear you on that blue chronic, I've noticed in the 5 weeks I've been growing. It has a lot to do with reading your plants no doubt. Its just hard for me to read something I've never seen lol.. I think I'm doinga pretty decent job so far so I will do my best to read them further, thanks for the input, +rep!

My mistake not from the top down, but your plant will show you when its hungry and you'll know when to feed them. Anyways, I just fed a 1/4 dose of tiger bloom mixed with big bloom, ill let you guys know how that goes.

I know that's how you feel. But your plants react so fast and grow so quickly you'll be surprised. 60 or 70 or whatever many days you have left is going to be a longgg time. If you do over fertilize you can get nute lock and your plants growth will be stunted. Once they get bigger you can give them more nutes but you want to just let them relax and grow their roots in their pots. You also want your soil to dry out between waterings. Because when the soil dries out the roots reach for water, so by letting it dry out your helping your root system.

What I'm saying is you can give your plant too much love, sometimes (especially in the beginning) too much love can be a bad thing. (overwatering/nute lock). Especially because this is your first real grow you want to get a better understanding on the cannabis plant before you start tweaking and perfecting your technique. Once you come out of a grow with a harvest you come out with a lot of tested knowledge. I mean you can read and read all you want but you learn a lot more just by doing and observing.

Check these pics. I didn't use any type of bloom enhancer. Just 3 part Adv. Nutrients nutes, ffof, and molasses.. :peace:

ps: upper right plant was male in first pic, removed afterwords. The other pics are just the two plants.

Also the last pic isnt harvest day, I just never took a top-down shot on harvest day lol
Fucking nice grow Verde. Nice job buddy... just goes to show that what you can grow.. without using all kinds of complicated nutrients and other shit. I've been trying to tell people.. especially new growers (the ones that seem to make things complicated for themselves) I've been trying to tell those new growers.. that if you just keep shit simple.. everything will go just fine.. and you'll have a wonderful harvest... and you my man.. have just proved my point. Excellent job.

What was your wet/dry weights?!? Did you weigh them??!

just curious.. but again.. thanks for proving my theory on keeping things simple when growing. ;)

Peace.. and best of luck with all your future grow bro.

"I was wondering if someone could tell me if it looks like my plants are flowering because i really want to use this tiger bloom."

Your plant isn't flowering.. technically.. until it spits out its first preflowers. Or hairs.. once you see the first set of hairs.. that's when the plant has began to flower. Until then, your plant is technically still in the "sexing" stage... which is the stage every plant goes through.. before it starts flowering.

Hope that helped.

peace.

The plants pushed out some white hairs so i gave them some tiger bloom.
I was prety impressed as i was lazy and gave them 1 tbsp per half gallon of water and then realized that they were only supposed to get 1 tsp so i just gave them another half gallon of water.
Its been two days and there hasnt been any burn besides when 3 leaves got to close to my side lighting so im pretty happy.
Ill have pictures up on week 4.
:peace:out

if they are from seed i think 1tbs per 1/2gal is too much.
if i am making a 1/2 gal of nutes i use 5ml tigerbloom and 15ml bigbloom.

Yeah they're from seed cus you cant clone autos if thats what your saying?
Ill make sure that i don't do a tbsp again even though it seems as though it hasn't hurt my plants at all.

i had no idea they were auto's. they may be able to handle it. but they can thrive with lower doses. i believe fox farm recommends 10ml's per gallon. with 30ml of big bloom.

these nute ain't cheap, hell i wouldn't use more than i need.

I don't know the prices of other nutes but 23.99 for a quart didnt seem that bad to me and 55 a gallon was alright too.

nice first grow, this thread has me excited for my first grow....you got me thinking about those auto seeds now! are all the seeds femenized?

Nah but when you buy autos they cost 2x as much but then you get all females so it works out and you dont have to worry about finding/killing males.

That is not true, no all auto's are female/feminized! You have to buy them that way, otherwise you run the risk of getting male seeds too.

They are sweet, although I would think 12/12 from seed with fem seeds of a regular strain would produce more than autos, and in almost similar harvest times. Basically 12/12 from seed would work similar to an autoflower but would need a little more work.

Autoflowers are perfect though since well..they flower automatically! haha
