I normally dry sift all my trim and less desirable buds and keep that sift in a small jar and smoke on it as is...am I missing anything by not pressing this?...other than long term storage...flavor and or high is what I'm wondering if I'm missing out on...the important stuff...I've tried iso hash n sometimes it turned out fire n others not so much...just want to make sure I'm getting the most out of what I have to work with...looking for advice opinions n tips on easy simple at home hash making

If you mean squish it like with a rosin press, you absolutely should try squishing your dry sift. Hash rosin is awesome, and imo a way more pleasant experience than just compacted dry sift.
No I was actually talking abt hand pressing...like old school hash...my bad I should've clarified that

Oh, in my experience hand pressed hash is still a much nicer experience than loose kief. Depending on how you've gathered the material it could be a full melt hash on its own.
