Difference between yield depending on pot size.

Hey guys, I'm going to be getting my seed soon and I'm really undecided about how big of a pot I should use.
About how much of a size difference do you think it would make if I used a one gallon pot instead of a two gallon.

My plant is supposed to grow 20 to 30 inches. So if I used the 2 gallon would it get way bigger than if I used the one gallon? I don't want it to be too big because of the smell and stuff like that.

Well, how many seeds do you want to grow under 1 light?
Just one plant, and its an autoflowering plant but I know if I get an hps it would take about a month off of the life cycle than using cfl's. So for example it would take 4 months with cfl's and prolly 2 with an hps.

Probably a 250watt or do some research on COBS and run 1-2 of them above a plant, each cxb3590 cob will put out around 12k lumens at 1.4 amp drive current, u can mix and match colour spectrum from 3000k all the way up to 6500k, they are incredibly efficient and low heat.output and use around 50w electricity per cob at 1.4 amp. So 2 3590 cobs u will basically have a 250w hps with over half the power draw and less heat. Good for small spaces

It only takes one plant to funk up a house, the smell has nothing to do with how many plants you grow
If I grew a small auto flower and 5 huge plants in my room I think their would be a huge difference.
That is kind of common sense if you ask me. Serously how would one small plant have as strong a smell as 5 huge plants.

Wow that is a lot of info. I don't think I'm going to get a cob thing because I want to be lazy and do everything the easy way right now cuz I'm just starting again.
You said about a 250 watt would be good

It is possible to grow with minimal smell, but there's always some funk. Stress definitely makes em stink more.
I know ppl on this site said I can't control the smell with stuff you can get from walmart and stuff like that. Their is this stuff from home depot that really neautrizles the smell.
I'm also going to be putting two of those glade things around my plant to help with the smell.
I was also gonna put a couple more outside my room and a couple other scented products.

I think if I use all this I can control the scent of one plant.

You do know these glade air freshners need to be refilled it would cost u less to get a small 4inch fan and carbon filter, I bought one for about 80$ Aus for the set. And it helped with the smell of the Ceres Amsterdam skunk. And dayum was that stanky as hell

Well for one or two plants around 2-3foot high would do ok with 250hps or you could do one scrogged/trained plant . This all depends on your grow area size. Can u tell us what size is your grow room?

Go on youtube and search for cheap odor filtering. Some guy bought some cheap {Honeywell?} filters at Home Depot and used plastic jugs and other cheap parts to build a charcoal filter fairly cheap.

Pot stinks. Maybe someone here can suggest a strain that stinks less.
