I use a 1/4hp chiller and it’s set at and keeps it at 64, it wouldn’t be possible without, maybe with bennies but I’m running sterile now. 5 strains, no air pumps as @Airwalker16 recommended, we swapped for waterfalls about a month in veg. Yes it’s rdwc with 5 107L totes filled to 75 gallons total, very stable on ro, I haven’t touched ph in a month. I’m adding back 5-7 gal daily at this point lows 80s @ about 45-50rh.
Perfect environment

good info!
i am planning to use canna aqua just the base nutes with hydroguard and pk13/14 nothing crazy in my first dwc run just going to stick to the basics at first.
how much lph should my water pump have for this kind of rdwc (4x90L) and can you recommend me one?
are you using a control reservoir at all?
Select from one of these companies models.
They're inline AND submersible and have a controller for dimming power down to 33%.it has that capability in every model so keep that in mind with your choice. You're going to want to buy a pump that's twice what's needed and dim down to 50% and you'll be able to get away with little to no heat.
The number in the model is it's Max LITER PER HOUR rating.

so i was thinking about growing 4 different strains (similar tho) in dwc and i am building the setup myself.
so is the best way to do this in 4x 5 gallon buckets that are not connected to each other in any way?
i am worried about different strains different nutrient needs.
any advice is welcome.
I use separate5 gallon buckets. I can access my grow room daily. Have a few different strains, also use bagseed a to experiment on. I have different lights in different areas and I love being able to move stuff around. I’ve grown plants over 5 ft tall and never had a plant drink 5 gallons ( or 3 due to roots) in less than 3 days. It’s. Not aninconvenience to me tom onitor plants often and move buckets around daily. Just wanted to give some feed back because I know a lot of people will say RDWC or having a reservoir is the best way to go. It’ll depend on your set up and how often you can work in The garden. Peace

How’s it going??

well nothing yet :D I am moving to a different country because of the illegal status of weed in mine. (does that make me a cannabis refugee?)
also my dog got pregnant that little bitch so i have take care of the puppy´s and find them a good home so that makes a delay of 3 months to my plans.
i don´t stress about it too much at least i got some time to make everything work before i start.
my current plan is to veg in 5 gal buckets with air pump and then transplant to waterfall rdwc for flowering so i can actually compare these systems witch is kinda cool.
I am going to make a thread here as soon as i get started.

How’s it going??

Only thing I would ask are you running perpetual garden if not then rdwc is the way to go if you’re running perpetual then you will need different levels of nutes at different growth periods just my opinion
