digital camera issues..help

my camera is acting funny..it was working fine like 2 days ago.....so i went to take pics today it keeps sayin "card locked"...anybody know whots up with it??

Memory card? If so...Mine did the same thing and I had to re-format it. It did it again a few weeks later and I had to just buy a new mem card.

Correction....Mine was saying the mem card was full even though it wasnt. And it wouldnt let me delete anything off the card.

yeah its wierd..idk whats causing it..not good wit digital cameras..its prollt somethin simple..anybody got any thing i can try hit me up

What type of card is it (compact flash, other?)? Many of the cards have a write-protect "slider" on them, sometimes hidden on the side (yes, the very thin side) where you wouldn't think of looking.

If that doesn't work, many cameras allow you to write-protect individal pictures and/or the whole card through the camera software. It would be interesting to see if this is the problem.

Other than that, the card may be shot.
