Dim with A type meanwell driver

Hello
I’m a little bit confused about dimming. I have an ELG 150 48A driver with a 120w board. Now it’s at full power but I want to get down to 60watt. Can I turn the Io Adj potentiometer all the way down?i read that it only dim down 50%, that would be fine for me

Why would you want to turn the current all the way down? The only way to know if you are adjusting it correctly is to use a current meter to make sure the current is where you need it.

Just dial it down and see. I think its about a 3/4 turn from full to max dim.
Guestimate. Nothing bad will happen

Ok lets make it simpler. I want 60w. What can I do?
I just told you what you need to do. You need to look at the current draw on a meter while you adjust it. You can't just turn the pot and guess. If you do then you could be running them at 30W or 70W.

Lo is to dim lights. Vo is set to how many diodes you have, how the boards are wired, so don't touch that.
It is "Io", not "Lo" and that adjusts current. Vo adjusts voltage and isn't just set by how many diodes you have...it is set to the voltage you want to run the diodes at which is based on the number of diodes and how they are wired (series, parallel, or both).

LOL! I give up. Good luck, and hopefully you won't damage your driver or LEDs by blindly adjusting it.
Totally unlikely that turning down current blindly will hurt anything. It will just dim.
A plug in watt meter isnt a bad thing to have if you dont want to mess with a meter.

Dimming down wont hurt anything but it's just stupid to adjust a driver without knowing what kind of power and current you are sending to the lights. This is how bad shit happens.

I dimmed the Io all the way down and, like I saw in the gardener tutorial, it dimmed the light something like an half. I ordered a meter, let’s see if I reached 60watts.
