"I was contacted by a mod and was told " If you continue showing cheaper solutions you are gonna interfere with our advertisers grow supplies." I'm not gonna say who did it but it was done. For the record the pics were real"

That's dumb. There are all kinds of threads on here that make suggestions on how to grow cheaply. The only suggestion of that guy's that I haven't seen before was to use dirt from your backyard...which is dumb advice too - but whatever.

I don't see alot of advertisers on here for grow supplies...maybe I just don't notice them?

Anyway...my point is that if RIU prevented people from posting inexpensive grow solutions we wouldn't know about CFLs, hempy buckets and other cheap solutions that are discussed daily.

It's just propoganda - ignore it.
