Dimmable Important?

Here's another option. This one actually fits a 3x3 better, but it's more expensive too.

Thanks. I'm looking at this one most seriously: https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/collections/lamps/products/hlg-100-rspec
But I am considering Spider if dimmable matters.
Dimming can be added, search ebay/amazon for led dimmer.

Hey now! Is a dimmable option important to anyone? I'll be using a 3x3 tent and prob only 1 plant.
Thanks for any info.
Think of it this way... Dimmers are like car seat heaters, when you need to use them you hope they are there. The dimmer is great when you need to use it to dial in your numbers using a PAR meter. Get a light that has a dimmer or a dimmer option. Also, most 100w LED lights use a 2x2 tent.

I was told those only work with the 65, not the 100. I'm pretty sure it was HLG that told me that.

The light he is looking at is only 100 watts, he wont get 300 for veg without buying 3 of them. I use 300 watts for veg to cover a full 4x4 tent but the OP is not going that big.
Oh my bad, didn’t see the 100w light. I wouldn’t waste time trying to flower under a 100w light in a 3x3. Either upgrade the light to properly match a 3x3(around 300w) or down size the tent to match the light.

You're right, the dimmer I posted will not work with the HLG 100.

That board is 36v and requires a PMW controller rated at 36v or higher. But there are options. ;-)
Keep in mind, the Chinese new year can cause big shipping delays.
