I decided to try my hand at an outdoor Auto to see how they do here in Northern climes.
I was given two auto seeds from a mate and only this one popped.
I had it growing in a 4" pot indoors under 4000K F Strips until the weather warmed up a bit then transplanted it into the 19l air pot and stuck her outside. It's in a mixture of homemade compost, Biobizz light mix, perlite and sand.
Shes 8" tall.
I hadda stake her to a bamboo last week as we got hit by a storm, I lost a 28 year old weeping willow tree to it, snapped right at the base ffs. WW Auto weathered it out tho.
I move her around the garden, chasing the Sun to maximise the photons.
It can probably get 10 - 12 hours of direct Sunlight that way.
I give it some solar led at night, not much but anything is better than nothing.... lol
The WW Auto is now 29 days since she broke the soils surface from seed.
Im at 55°N so it gets quite cool at night here but day time temps are 18 - 20°C
I can veg regular and fem seeds into monsters but can't flower them outdoors as budrot and mildew sets in around late August in these parts.
Fingers crossed that the WW Auto will do well.
