Bananas still seemed for the most part preserved other than the mold on topsoil but as everyone knows just cause you cant see it doesn't mean it's not there.

I threw them away I'm not tryna getting mold all over, I'll just stick with throwing them in water and changing out the water occasionally. I need to learn to walk before i run.
That aloe vera is going to dry up pronto too. Just stick them in tap water. No tricks or overnight waiting crap. Fill a glass and stick them in it. Change water every two days. In a couple of weeks you’ll be thrilled.

You must change the water. Leave on a counter or some place receiving weak light. A CFL high is okay. High. You’re trying to develop roots and not shoots.

Yeah I used one of my girls glass cake stand covers as a humidity dome since my cat found and got right into the last diy one that was outside the grow box within 4 hours but yep until I can get my hands on some hormone powder I'm totally fine with waiting for the water to root them sounds like the best method for me for now

Aero cloner, plain water, aloe.
aerate water in cloner 24/7
Have pump sprayer turn on 15 min, off 15 min 24/7
Wait.

I really want to do an aero setup but I dont even have a tent yet I've got two diy 2x4 wooden grow boxes (given to me) and my plants outgrown it and been thrown in the closet and super topped but I've got my eye on a cheap one for now

Can make the clones work with a few cheap 25-40w CFL bulbs. Shouldn’t cost more than 30$ Plus the cloner another 50$, they don’t need a lot of light. But I feel you on needing more space haha always a struggle

Its definetly always a struggle haha, thinking about getting a 5x5 tent and all the other equipment needed plus multiple meters, I need to learn how to utilize ppm, and control ph and co2

You don’t need any powder or gel or anything else. Drop it in.
