Tb the rapid rooter plugs are held together with some sorta natural glue and are less likely to crumble ten rock wool honestly ime

Thanks, and yes less likely to crumble, however I didn't feel crumbling is a worry for me, and it might just be that much harder for the roots to push through, not that it makes more than a couple days difference either way I guess. I just worry that in the future the organic material in the rapid rooters could cause some sort of issue, but I guess not likely once it's dried up. I'm glad you're trying a variation, that way we can see which way works best. I figure as long as all of you guys are trying different stuff, the fact it's being documented here makes it shared experience for all of us. ;)

yea Im allset with the rockwool on my clones they have a lower succes rate then the plugs and take longer to root as well

how is your system going, i really like your idea to use the pvc board, never heard of it, can i get it at a hardware store or where?
i think im going to copy your chamber design, but use a hydraulic delivery system instead.
nice thread here very informative convinced me to go 18" chamber height.

what atomizer said. sorry guys summer nd work have got me so consumed right now I have not had the chance to continue this project and heat became to much of an issue so in the fall ill continue the build.
