Dispensaries Growing Garbage in Colorado

I have had reason to do business with many dispensaries in my area. I am shocked to see the way they are growing. I'm a noob but chime in On what I have seen. 1. Grow lights bought from home depot, guy didnt have a clue about spectrum/par. 2. Another large grow room (400+ plants) Guy had different rooms, trays were 4x8 ebb&flo he had one 1000w parabolic over 4 4x8 trays!,, no light rail or anything! His weed was so fluffy I believe it may have taken a tray to make an ounce! ( This guy claims to be "The guru" btw) 3. Another dispensary was selling rooted clones that came from flowering plants.. oh my!.. I have seen many odd&strange things at many dispensaries including product that wasnt cured correctly, selling product that was almost dripping wet and product that smelled like it was fresh pesticide! So be warned... Know your dispensary and know who they buy or trade strains with.. There is a lot of garbage floating around. Makes you really wonder about the mexican weed and what they hell it contains! :o

any commercial product is what it is, "commercial". these guys see a potential for profits and just take advantage, and thats what they care for really. i doubt that many dispensaries would take the time and effort to do proper curing before selling. they would also use pesticides to kill pests that infest the buds regardless of the harm because it will save their harvest and their profits, it is the fastest growng industry in colorado. if i were there i would open a dispensary myself and do the best weed with good marketing to give the image of a connoisseur dispensary. anyway i doubt that street shit is as good, it may contain too much crap. there was an incident in england when a grower spread glass powder over his buds just to give them weight!!! many people ended up hospitalized from inhaling this shit. now that it is legalized in dispensaries, it should also be controlled by health officials so they can evaluate the quality and control it. anyone using pesticides out of order or selling bad product should have license removed or fined and warned.

Well.... "Supposedly" in January they are suppose to implement the laws that will require dispensaries to test their finished products... Good luck with that as there are so many ways to fool the system. The state does have a liability as they have given permission for these sales... I believe that you can get better product through caregivers as they seem to really want to produce a great product for their few customers... but I'm sure that's not always the case...
