dj shorts blueberry

I'm experiencing the same results and I don't understand why their is very little talk of the unstability and hermie tendencies of his blueberry?? I can find any info needed on other breeders strains but not his I even read an article that said it's the most stable strain out there producing huge yields of fine blueberry herb at 18 to 29% THC haha that's bs and he's creating bad karma for himself and I can't see why people love his gear so much? U can only pay so many people to write good reviews so I'm not sure why people haven't spoken out about dj short and the lies about his strains..If they were truthful and had awesome gear they would have my money all the time so he's dumb cuz he's creating bad karma and losing money cuz of it as I will not recommend his gear to anyone

I hear only good things about dj shorts blueberry however I have 8 dj short blueberry plants and there's 3 different phenotypes it's very unstable even producing some seed already and does not look very good so I'm hoping they will turn on the last couple weeks but it's definitely not a 45 to 50 day strain in my experience at 4 weeks it looks very skimpy with very strange looking leaves and wispy hairs with a grassy smell I have other strains next to it that are doing great so I'm not sure why they say 18 to 29% thc at 45 to 55 days that's just not true and with 8 females I should have at least a couple keepers but they don't look worth keeping so at 150 to 170$ for 10 seeds is totally unfair so a heads up to anyone wanting to run djs blueberry I also have 20 years experience and this by far is one of the most finicky weird plant I've ever grown and I'd have to guess I've seen 100 different strains but I would like any feedback on others that have run dj shorts blueberry and the results they got...let me know Thank You
We've been using the same parents to make Blueberry since 1998. When I did my last seed run with Dj's F5 Blueberry there were at least three major classifications of phenotypes and perhaps as many as 7. It's not unusual to see a variance of between three to seven different pheno's from the F5 stock. All are stabilized to purple, berry/grape and resin production. May I ask where you purchased your seeds? Were they in the breeders packs? All the blueberry I've ever grown easily takes at least 50 days to finish. Closer to 60. I've documented my experience here on RIU in a Blueberry grow journal. I think I ended up putting it in the seeds and strain review section. We charge 80.00 for 13 seeds. Not 170.00 for ten. In bulk they're 60.00 for 13.

I know other breeders have been stopped from answer questions pertaining to their genetics on this site unless they allow the admins to extort money out of them for advertising. (I feel I'm risking being kicked off this site even commenting here) So basically RIU is censoring people from defending themselves but allowing people to slander others. Why haven't more people put two and two together and figured out why this is?

Oh OK I'm new here I didn't know all the politics on the site and i should of read up on the rules better but with that being said your explanation of the blueberry is right on spot and I ended up finishing at 65 days with 3 diff phenos varying from good to OK and yes they wer in the breeders packs and I forgot which site I bought them from but the price u quoted is fair and I just didn't realize their were so many phenotypes because I read that item was a stable strain but all in all it was a crapshoot but it worked out ok

I am unfamiliar with the stability of other strains, but from what I've heard Dj's gear is some of the most stable on the market. To be honest with you, out of 28 females or so I found myself wishing for more variance than I got. I was doing a pheno-hunt but felt like I was growing from clone to a degree and personally it was kind of boring to have so many similar pheno's. But that was just my experience and like I was saying I'm not really familiar with the stability of many other strains.

What strains have you worked with that you felt were more stable than Dj's F5 Blueberry?

breeders have not been stopped from answering Qs pertaining to their genetics period! breeders were never allowed to belittle customers or post links to buy their seeds. careful who you listen too.

I grew Blue Pyramid and it was the only strain of several that showed no sign of bud rot at all. Damnedest thing. It was too easy to burn with lights though. Two of those both had extensive brown areas on the upper leaves while other strains had none. They still grew though, just looked like hell. Pretty potent and smelled like Batman bubblegum to me. That's the pink gum that used to come with Batman cards a long time ago. I guess you just have to ease them into strong light or hold back water for a few days before moving to get them nice and solid. The upper buds turned nicely light purple.

The list would be too long to list all the strains I have worked with and there are many strains that are very stable just to mention a few would be SUNSHINE DAYDREAM MOTHERS MILK Jesup OG etc etc..The blueberry turned out better than I thought so overall I'm satisfied its just a weird strain that will even seed itself I definitely don't recommend the Blueberry by DJ Short to beginners because it's very finicky..During flowering they don't like nutrients and they use very little water if u don't let them totally dry out then they won't flower correctly
