U've all heard about it ,dmt,some say its spiritual substance,etc etc
it can be extracted from Mimosa or Phalaris Arundicacea
and i guess from many other plants,but these 2 are known to me.

I never tried DMT,but i am willing to try it,
and im not intending to spend money on it
(just as im not intending to spend any money on
any drug,but to grow it and extract on my own)

I got phalaris in my garden,but its dead ,cos its winter
i also got mimosa,but i also have to wait for summer ><
both plants are legal i think,but extracting of dmt is not

has anyone tried extracting?or smoking/eating dmt?
tell us experience if u will

i was thinking about smoking dried leaf of phalaris
but im not so sure...there are 2-3 alive leafs left on plant

so,this is DMT thread,if there is already such thread,then let this be

that lil drug is getting popular...I know more and more people giving it a go...

I dont know if I would try it..I didnt like salvia.

maybe if it was in front of me, and I was in a comfortable setting...let us know how your trip goes
 
i guess its not like salvia,or any other drug,its just unique,as everyone said...
main characteristic is 'leaving the body' ,and its like dreamlike,and not many people have bad trips from it,some change their lives after doing dmt
 
thats what my friend said..he couldnt explain the trip.

i heard dmt is a chemical out brain naturally produces, and before we die is when our brain releases it..

dont know how true that statement is..havent researched it:peace:
 
yes,yes i also heard that,forgot to write it in main post,will add that,i also heard that we already got dmt...i guess if we were a little bit 'smarter' or able to use more percent of our brain,then we could maybe use that dmt in our brain to make us trip,or something like that...and i think dmt in brain is active when we sleep,ive read that somewhere

All right.. If you are chemistry inclined, the synthesis of DMT is rather easy. If you are not so chemistry inclined, the extraction is about the same difficulty with just easier to get materials. But for the most part, it's pretty easy.

Smoking the dried leaf isn't really going to help you, as it has a low % of DMT. Erowid has a lot of information about the extraction (and as to which specied of DMT containing plants that one should use) along with much information about DMT itself.
 
Dmt is an easy extract, but a synth is not so easy. The extracts have a lot of solvent left behind unless you are really good and have the right tools. I have tried both lab grade DMT and DMT I have extracted. The extract has many grades and other alkaloids that will be present. I have got the extract to be pure white but I lost a lot while washing it to get it that pure. The lab grade I got is the sweetest perfection. Its so much easier to smoke as well. 20-25mgs is active threshold. I have not tried my 5-meo-dmt yet cause I myself am not ready for it. I am cleansing my system out for that one, after my next liver flush perhaps. My closest friend has tried and loves it.
 
'proper' DMT extraction lasts a month,right? is there a shorter /quicker extraction,that can be done like in few hrs or something like that...and that doesnt take lab equipment...
anyone tried smoking leafs?ive heard they are very little potent with DMT
 
DMT rocks! I don't know anyone that has had a bad trip from DMT. Not at all like salvia. DMT is an enlightening, euphoric drug. I'd consider salvia to be the exact opposite.
 
Do an A/B extraction and you will be fine. that worked for me, although it took at least 4 kilos of rootbark to get the white really pure stuff comparable to the lab grade.

If one could get their hands on a better solvent than Naptha (such as Hexane) it could be done without such residue correct? I don't know.. I looked at the synthesis and found it rather simple (and I'm not the most advanced chemist either). But Shulgin has a very clear-cut synthesis.

if you donyt like salvia thgat doesnt mean you wont like dmt they are only similaar in thew fct you smoke them both dmt has noneo of the bad feeling only wonderful bliss

can u explain us how did u extract it? that A/B extraction...i am soo wanting to do DMT,but i dont have equipment and i cannot get lab eqipment,just some simple things,so i hope that a/b extraction is not much demanding.
i have phalaris growing in my room,in garden outside they are dead,cos snow is falling today...how much leafs of phalaris is needed to get a good trip?

For an acid/base extraction you simply go to your local grocery store and buy something called "Red Devil Lye" and go to your local paint store and buy "Muriatic Acid". IMO these are the easiest things to get, the Lye is extremely basic and the Muriatic Acid is diluted hydrochloric acid. You really do not need any fancy equipment at all to do the extraction for DMT. I'm not posting a link, but go to erowid.org and search DMT. They have the whole extraction word for word.
 
I've done 5-MeO which I know isn't the same as DMT-NN but im getting ready to give a go at making some DMT-NN from Mimosa hostilis root bark the extraction procedure i'm using is http://www.erowid.org/plants/mimosa/mimosa_chemistry1.shtml i've seen this extraction at afew other sites and have read articles about people using it. It supposedly only takes a day. Also about the Red Devil Lye things the guy aboved me posted... well if your in the states than I wouldn't count on finding any... it's been pulled from the shelves in major super centers such as Wal-Mart, K-Mart, ect. In fact i'm not sure if they even still make Red Devil. Though you can easily go online and find 4lbs of the exact same thing for about $15.00 and for using Naptha, it says to use VM+P not Lighter fluid which could probably be picked up at a local ACE store. As for the Bark I just ordered 35 grams online for about $17.00 (that is also including the cost of priority shipping). Though if 5-MeO is supposedly a taste of what pure DMT actually is... hehe I can't wait :fire:

Ah shit.. they still have it at the local grocery stores here, so yeah, get a different brand lye! lol. Yeah Naptha works but then aren't we using a polar/non-polar extraction? I haven't looked at the extraction in a while sry. But anyways I think I've heard people using hexane instead of Naptha (due to the residue naptha leaves).. but I don't think it really makes any difference.
