lol cut me some slack floridasucks it was my first extraction. I didn't us anywhere near the amount of lye I should have (like 150g) and I should have used more water since it was powdered root-bark. The point I was trying to make is don't expect 1% your first time. but it can happen. But holy shit man 13g from a pound?!? That's unheard of... You must be jesus or something..
