The worst sunburns I've ever seen were on folks enticed to stay out in the daylight on a cloudy, or hazey, day.
That said, I'd imagine it would depend on the depth of the cloud cover.

I think alot of people want to know the answer to this.......

I would think that the plants still get plenty of light, they have survived for thousands of years, and there would have to have been plenty of cloudy ass days in that time. The sun is much stronger than any light you could put on the plants. I don't know it as fact, but my guess would be that even on a cloudy day, the plants would still get more or about the same amount of light as you could give it inside.

I don't think that you have to worry about your plants not getting enough light on one cloudy day. There is still plenty of light out there, and your plants will be fine. No plants are harmed by a cloudy day or two.

UV light will penetrate cloud cover...Sit in a boat fishing on a cloudy day, you'll get toasted...I'm in a sort of Bermuda triangle here, A lot of the big storms pass us by but still cloud us over quite frequently, it doesn't seen to have that drastic an effect...I think that outdoor weed just seems to adapt to it's surroundings better.
Obviously more sunlight is better but........

Well my humidity is looking ok (78%)Right now, so im just watering a little less than normal. But if the clouds turn into rain clouds, then the ph will drop due to the acid in the rain and that will start a whole new set of problems.. also thanks to all that sent in replies. Very helpful for the nubie =)

Now slowly count to ten.........good. You're going to throw a stroke before the sun comes out again....I grow outside here and in Quebec you can get rain & clouds for 23 days in a month, and for 6 years my plants have been fine..Just do the feeding and the stuff you can control right and the plants usually do the rest...but I get the "GROW YOU BASTARD & WHERE'S THE FUCKING SUN" thing....

shortly after i transplanted, the weather decided to take a shit on my plants and they were still in shock due to the move also. this was giving me the impression that they were not getting enough light, but they are looking fine now even with minimal sunlight.
strong little buggers

[QUOn a sunny day there are somewhere around 60000 lumens per sq ft and 5000 per sq ft on a cloudy day. An indoor room on a closed system should have 5000 lumens per sqft.
