do hermie seeds produce a certaint precentage of females on a average?

my frnd gave me sum seeds that he sayed came from a hermi.... i need to know if any females can be produced, and if not is a hermies bud still good to smoke

I have read that hermie seeds will produce all female, but 50% of those seeds will turn hermie on you. That seems super high to me but it was in a recent issue of high times..So I don't know Good luck JR
