DO i need to flush with Earth Dust?

Does anybody know if i have to flush like people claim to do whilst using liquid fertilizers? Is it really just for taste reasons? And if so, what are some tips and advice for flushing for the first time?

flushing came about with hydroponics, so plats grown in soil dont need it unless you realy want too. i wouldent bother personaly
