Do I need to worry about Pythium?

Hey Everyone,

Just a quick question about the dreaded root rot and the best way to avoid it.

I'm running a drain to waste rockwool top feed system. The reservoir I'm using is filled from an RO system. I'm running C02 so the room temperature is 28.

However I'm running chillers on the reservoir so the nutrient temperature is 20 degrees and I'm also running multiple airstones in it to keep the solution as oxygenated as possible.

I'm presuming the chilled water and extra oxygen should prevent any? Or am I being too cautious? Is the chiller and airstone overkill and a waste of electric?

Thanks,
J.
