Do minor damaged fan leaves still get photosynthesis?

show us some pictures of said leaves. but honestly i get damaged fan leaves all the time they still produce photosynthesis but im not sure how damaged your talking about. lol pic's would help

bra i would not defoliate this plant you dont really have that much fan leaves too start with. and those leaves are like solar panels they are producing photosynthesis.

Ok I did remove one lower fan leaf that was really damaged ..other than that havnt removed anything. Right on bro thanks

honestly i believe defoliation of fan leaves is for the pro's who know what theyre doing and dont make mistakes. my last grow i messed up big time and the only thing that got me through was the nutrients stored in the fan leaves. when your plant doesnt need them anymore it will kill them off. i believe new growers should leave fan leaves on but too each theyre own.

I see absolutely no reason to remove any of those leaves. The only time I remove leaves is topping, if they are almost completely yellow, or of I am lollipopping in a tent for better airflow or light penetration. Outdoors, let mother nature do what she does.

Take it with a grain of salt. I'm still very new to the game. Lol. That said, I like to think that I have mostly moved past the "I need to make this way harder than it is" stage. And fidgeting with the plants and trying to figure out which perfectly healthy leaves to cut off a plant for no reason were right at the top of that stage.
