I've been running a cycle timer from cap for 4 years for my feed pump, never skipped a beat. Let's see how many days before it goes out now lol.
I also have cap ppm4 co2 controller, now that is a shitey product, it freezes all the time. Have a work around though, I have it on a cheap reset timer, solves the problem.

To everyone saying you're running too much, one pump is too much? Once I get some cash I'm buying a couple of these. The hell with these electronic timers.

I took the first one that died apart. There is not much to them. A relay and a PCB. The PCB gets power from the relay. I put a multimeter on it and I think the relay died so it may be bad Chinese parts but CAP's name is on it and if the relay is shit they should find another source.

I have an nft 1 and it works ok. But when I ordered mine the first 2 they sent me stayed on all the time with only a 0.9 amp load after the very first cycle. 3rd one was a charm though been going good for a year now. (please timer gods don't break my timer now. please)
Nah that spells User Error. 2 years not a problem with 2 of them.
You can do the same thing to the $13 timers at home depot, google it. Just removing back and taking out a shim to set it to 40 sec increments, obviously this is what this guy is doing and marking it up 200%, and of course he needs suckers like you buying it.

there relays are made in china and acembled in the US! so what your saying is all 100s of people on
the net and forum are all at fault lol, thats bullshit man ive got more time useing cap products to
know there timers are weak and prone to fail. to shay to you for making a ass out of your self!!!

I reely don't want to be a sucker so I Googled '13$ timer at home depot' and this is what I got.
That didn't work so then I tried 'home depot timer take out a shim' and this is what I got.
If you could provide a link it would be appreciated. I'm actually using one of their timers now. Half hour on half hour off. Not ideal but the plants are still alive.
