do seeds have better yield than clone

You aren't wrong, it works for you and you have gotten great results time and time again... You just cant say that I'm wrong or anyone else for that matter who supports using clones because well, it's worked for me on the other side of things time and time again. Nobody is right or wrong, everyone just has their way of doing things and it's all about finding what works best for you. I know their are major seed breeders that have certain strains going that have been in their database for decades. I mean lets say that I am a major seed company and have grown out thousands of plants to select the best one. I'm not just going to negate that mother when I'm done with her, I'm going to keep her around to take cuttings and keep that plants genetics around. The way they keep certain strains alive is by cloning them. Thats why clones are so essential IMO. Undoubtedly Natmoon you have some dank ass looking bud, but that is simply acclimated to you being a bad ass grower for 20 years. If you were to take your best seedling and turn it into a mother, I guarantee that you could turn your clones off of her into something JUST AS amazing because of your abilities. Nobody is right or wrong. Simply a time saver when taking clones. You definitely do shit right though Natmoon, keep it up!

Incredible... 400g????? That's well over 14oz from one plant!!!!!!!! You are a god in my opinion. You really don't think you could do that with a clone? I think you can brotha, I really do. Simply amazing

When i created the airbasket it wasn't with the hope of being the best or showing off,i was just trying to teach people,especially people living in draconian societys,how to grow only one plant very quickly with many colas and still high quality.
All laws in all countrys prosecute by the amount of plants that you have grown.
Some countries and states of america also prosecute you even more for making clones and not growing from seed.

My way was so hobby growers could avoid huge penaltys by only growing one plant.
If you look at a plants root structure you will notice that it looks like a lung,it needs air as much as it needs water.
Air is the key to huge buds and higher thc imo,constant hybridization increases quality and strength imo and also stops you from becoming tolerant to your own plants.

I know i get pissy to easily and i am sorry for that,its not that i am an asshole its just that i have gone out of my way to try to help people.
I have grief from my missis and friends for even sharing this on the internet as they think i am a dumbass for exposing myself.
Anyway i hope people can learn something from me,clones are great but seeds will always be the best imo :leaf:

nat u seem to know your seeds...
i am going to try going from clone to seed cuz i don't have a mother room anymore and have a little experience with seed but just enough to know that seeds are very unstable in size..now i will be making my own seeds from taking a female and male from the same mother am i asking for a headache?
any suggestions? +rep-- :joint:

I never have done that to be honest and i dont know about it.
Are you going to use gibberilic acid to make it male?
You do understand that you cant make a proper male from a female mother :leaf:

hmmm interesting thread

in my expiriance clones are already sexually mature so you shave a week off there but they can take a little longer in veg, but once they start growing again after rooting its all the same.... as for potancy its not a question a clone is an exact replica of its mother and so is a clones clone and that clones clone and on and on and on its all the same

seed however grow big and fast so do clones but if anything the seed plant will pull ahead again the potancy of will be the same as the clone as long as all environmental factors are the same its all the same really... it is, maybe a few minor difrances but generaly not. as for yeild well that all depends on how big the plant is

shame you cant do an experiment with it... you cant clone the mother and plant the seed at the same time

i'm trying to think of the benefits of a air basket over a dwc setup. and i cant really find any, however, mad props to you for making dwc waterless...... +1

get your male plant and seperate it first, when you get your pollen sacks, put a plastic back around the plant and hang it upside down or cut off a limb and throw it in the freezer. then take a paintbrush and brush the pollen on from the bag onto whatever buds you want seeds on. i suggest the lower ones so that the buds still have their light and such so they can finish while seeds are produced lower on the plant. yay seeds and bud on one plant without seeds in your bud.

i would have prolly dedicated a hole plant til u said that...great idea!
i need about 1000 seeds and i was going to flower all the plants male and female till about 2 weeks in 1 room then pick the tightest nodded male separate it for a week or so collect all the pollen dry it out and use the paintbrush method on a female thats about a month into flower... will i need to use a hole plant for 1000 to 1500 seeds?
i can see myself using to much pollen on to few buds or just not judging it right the first time around..

Sorry i thought you said you were taking a male clone and a female clone from the same mother.
Inbreeding is fine and is how you stabilize a strain.
Over inbreeding can in some cases lead to a loss of vigour and mutants,but for a while it is fine :leaf:

The benefits were to enable hydro/aero speed and quality to the soil grower.
Many people will never go hydro,many people believe that soil grown is the best.
I got the idea for serious aeration of the root system from watching emails aero/dwc grow in the first place.
Personally i wanna smoke everyone's buds and i want them to smoke mine :bigjoint:

Hes telling you how to make a few seeds without ruining your sensi.
If you want 1,500 seeds you will need to pollinate a load of plants.
You can freeze male fronds to save the pollen as pollen loses its viability fairly quickly :leaf:

I fimm my plants very early and grow the seedlings under powerful light so that they grow really quickly,you just have to be real careful not to burn them.
Only fimm never top,one fimm can equal up to 9 new tops if your lucky,usually only 4 or 5 though.
The airbasket provides excellent drainage,gas release and even more aeration of the soil,the sponge and airline is like an artificial lung.
Also imo more effort is put into top growth as the plant grows many roots usually as it is searching for pockets of oxygen in the soil.
In my method they dont need to search for air. :leaf:
