Do shorter flowering time strains yeild less than long flowering time strains?

Longer flowering strains like Haze's should receive more energy than a shorter flowering strain like Hash plant grown in identical setup with identical veg times. Surely long flowering strains, mainly sativas, yeild higher as a result?

In my experience only comparing slh with other indicas, I think that slh has a larger harvest window compared to more indica orientated strains.

It's not so much the veg ,you can veg for any length of time,its the flowering period that takes longer on strains like haze,trust me I'm working on a haze at the minute that will finish in 9 week tops.
