i do it. i cover it with my palm, and if it starts to burn, i can slide it to a different part of my palm. if its a hot ember burnin that i need to hold shut for a while, i will slide my palm back n forth, so it doesnt burn me. then when i take my hand off, i like to suck up that tiny bit of smoke that was sitting inside the bowl lol

I ALWAYS cup it with my plam. Grip with my thumb and inside palm and when I light it I get it started then use my hand to control hom much I burn. Much smoother then torching it..

Less heat.

i put the bowl out with the corner of my lighter. all my lighters have bowl crud in the corners. i once let a random dude use my lighter to light a cigg and he saw the bowl crud and laughed like butthead. we had a moment.

In the past i always did, but i've since switched to the one hitter and mini torch combo, milks perfect every time and pulls through leaving nothing in my bowl, it's the perfect toke!
