Just a funny post, is anyone’s else pet just obsessed with eating the plants when they catch them with the open door? Maybe mine is crazy? Two days ago he jumped from the third floor dont ask how, he was PERFECT just a little scratch on the mouth. Now he has plucked a whole nail when he was escaladating. But he is a TERROR for the plants:))))

Grow some catnip. There are also certain grasses you can grow that will satisfy him.
My cat used to love soaking heat from the lights. She'd munch the random leaf. Catnip pulled her attention away from the good stuff.
I'll be growing some outside this year in an attempt to lure a local stray to stick around the yard to keep some squirrels at bay. Tuna and sardines only go so far with her.

He doesn’t like catinp very much…i think it’s something about the fact that he knows he is not allowed to eat them:))

It's hard to keep my Lab out of the room when I go in, he is fascinated with the plants. Gave him a leaf and he bailed, found him upstairs on his bed snorting, tossing the leaf around and growling at it for about an hour. The wife about had a heart attack when she saw what he was playing with. My old Chocolate Lab Hershey, (RIP Big Guy) got into an edible (cookie) at work once, and the poor guy went on one hell of a trip. It was the last time he ever "stole" a cookie, he stayed away and wouldn't go near any cookies unless they were given to him, uninfused of course.
