this pretty much sums up how i feel exactly.

I think the real question is "do you think your driving is negatively effected by smoking?"

Personally, I smoke almost every time I get in the car. If I'm going on a road trip, I smoke every 50 miles or so. I love driving. I love driving high. I love cruising down the highway with my sunroof open on a sunny day and my music cranked toking a bowl...

Truthfully I just enjoy being high while doing most things in life...it turns the mundane into the slightly more interesting, and the interesting into the freaking awesome.

I don't think my driving is negatively affected while I'm high either. If anything I'm more relaxed behind the wheel, meaning I'm less aggressive and less easily agitated by all the shitty drivers around me. I don't excessively speed. It almost eliminates my road rage.

Yea I also gotta agree with that guys post. I let people pass me and honk their horn at me and not give a shit while high. But you better believe if im so sober then im my v8 engine is going to be tearing the roads up.

You bet. Regular smokers it doesn't really affect your driving much at all. Less than talking on a cell phone that's for sure. Newbies or people who rarely smoke absolutely should not drive though because you will be too f'd up. I recall one time when I was 16 or 17 and first started smoking we were going down the street in my VW bug and I forgot I was driving for a second while spacing out fiddling with the radio. I was reminded that I was indeed driving when I went up the curb and almost ran into a phone pole.

I also recall one time when I was around 16 that we dropped acid at the county fair (4 way super strong) and then I rode my motorcycle home from there completely whacked out of my mind plus with my best friend as a passenger. I don't know how I made it home but I still remember feeling like Tron going down the road.

I don't reccomend driving while tripping on acid. Well I don't do that stuff any longer anyway, can't seem to find it any more. :)

Unfortunately I had a bad habit of only smoking in the car, my brother got a DUI for weed lost his license for 1.5 yrs with a lawyer. (BS state for weed) It was a reality check and I no longer smoke in the car, and hell yeah I smoke and drive. It's proven you drive way slower when your high, It was on this British report (TV) where a girl who had not smoked since she was in college and now 40 yrs old smoked weed for a month. One on of the days she did a driving test with weed and alcohol. Very true you get more reckless on alcohol compared to weed.....MY 2 JR

Disclaimer: I don't think everyone should smoke mad blunts to the head and operate a motor vehicle just so you know.

Your right about being arrested but dieing? Cmon lets pull these drunk driving facts out. How many weed driving fatalities have you heard of on the news? This is to all people not to you by the way. Weed and driving is fun and thrilling. If im on an indica I like to drive real slow and pull up to someone at the light and stare at them. sometimes they get scared and floor it as soon as the light turns green. hehehehe :peace:bongsmilie
maybe he means : That when he gets pulld over and looks and them stoned, they might just pull a tazer out and have some with you, and let you die ^^

haha.. maybe he means that ^^

-

But its proven that you can drive better when stoned.... well i can for sure... if im not stoned evrything anoys me... when im stoned i chill ... all is cool.. musik is running.. my speed is good.... my movements on the roads are like silk.

yeah i love weed and driving..

alcahol diffrent story, my driving feels like im on some rough surface and all is going way to fast..... zooom zoooom ^^

Here, here!

I'll do you one better though--it is WAY safer than TEXTING while driving. I don't know how many times I look at the car next to me and it's a young person (often a girl) texting and clearly not watching the road.

Or reading a book? Or watching TV? Or turning around to yell at your kids in the back seat?

It truly is a death trap out there...

I hope you are not one of those bastards who drive really slow in the left lane!
In Texas we have road signs that say "left lane for passing only", and "slower drivers keep right"
I would say its pretty inconsiderate to only be concerned with yourself and what you are doing! Especially on the road with thousands of other people.

I toke and drive all the time I have a small pipe and a jar of weed i always have in my car. I take a toke or two when i'm stuck in taffic or if I'm the only one on the road. On lunch from work I cruise around the residential neighborhoods smoking a bowl. I have never thought weed had an effect on my driving. Haven't been pulled over in ten or more years and i always just take a rip or two at a time and make sure it gets blown out the window in case I get pulled over no smell=no suspicion.

those signs aren't just in texas my friend.

its because some people on the roads out there are oblivious to their surroundings.

+1 to that. I've averaged 25k+ miles a year for the past 10 years now. I'd say better than 95% of that I was smoking, usually a bowl. I get pulled over an average of about once a year. With just a couple exceptions, they were all while I was not smoking.

IMO the experienced smoker should have very little trouble driving high. I've smoked a few strains that left me unable to drive for a couple hours due to overconsumption, unfortunately those strains are pretty rare...But I'm still trying to grow one:weed:

Do it all the time, it helps with my road rage and essentially my speeding problem. At the same time it makes me so much more focused on the road. Then again if I smoke some fire and start jamming to music I'll still want to go fast. But I calm it down. ;)

**WARNING DON'T EVER DO THIS EVER EVER EVER**
About a year back I rode my street bike after a blunt. I never had that much fun on my bike hahahahaha. Best feeling ever just cruising in the sunny Cali weather with the perfect cool breeze (just happened to be the perfect day) just leanin' and having a blast. That was the shit.

**PROFESSIONAL RIDER ON CLOSED COURSE** ;)
