i used to work with an 'it' that was developmentally delayed, born a XY balls and banger boy, decided to be a lesbian trans-gender identity person (cross dressing as a chick and hitting on girls, including filming in the girls showers) and then had the sex change but became a heterosexual transgender female.

Nope. That aint gettin near my kids. Not in any uni/poly/single gendered bathroom space.

I think this topic is a bit off course for what should be the real concerns.

Okay, so hypothetical scenario - all unisex bathrooms.

Highschool girls and boys sharing the same bathrooms? Not without a serious change in the way we raise our children.

If bathrooms happen - then rightfully locker rooms should too. Same point as above. You'll have a bunch of kids at full attention here, whereas the with the former the female's poop smell may keep them at bay. It doesn't smell like roses fellas. In the showers you'll have a bunch of naked girls soaping up their bodies and giggling when a guy walks in and BAM instantly uncomfortable. Vice versa too - guys soaping up and some big butch girl walks in BAM instantly uncomfortable. Goes for openly gays and lesbians too - I would rather not be in some public locker room showering where some gay guy may be sneaking peaks at my equipment.

If bathrooms and locker rooms - then dorms and military housing too.

What happens when someone gets drunk?

I think the separation of the sexes was intended to try and prevent sexual assault by keeping safe places where one will only be exposed to those in their exposed positions whom are not attracted to them. This is a problem with gays/lesbians too. Perhaps they don't find you attractive - but do you still want to be naked in front of them?

The only answer is to make individual rooms, showers, and bathroom stalls more private with shared communal areas. Of course, this just makes it easier for whomever of whatever preference to sneak off and shag. So before this happens a real look has to be taken at the commonly taught "abstinence only" sexual education that doesn't work.

The reason people might care in the first place is because they've been taught to care, taught that being naked is shameful, especially in western culture

Take all that shit away and nobody gives a fuck if you're naked around them or not

This pseudo puritanical bullshit will die with organized religion, and that shit's on it's long past due way out at 1% per year at this rate. In a decade, nobody will give a shit about any of this nonsense
