Does acoustic air ducting reduce flow? Will this help with my setup?

Simple question, but i cant find a solid answer.

Does acoustic ducting reduce airflow? If so, by how much %?

I recently upgraded a 6inch intake to a more powerful fan, but it didnt increase the airflow much. Im wondering if i replace the ducting with non-acoustic ducting (without the fibreglass in it ) will it make much difference?

I know my duct run is long and has 2x bends in it and this will also reduce flow, but i cant fix that at the moment, unless adding the hard plastic elbow joints will help flow around the bends?

All I can tell you is the smoother the ducting the better the airflow. So, if you introduce any ducting with ridges there will be a reduction of airflow. Also, ideally you wanna minimize the number of bends or elbows for the same reason. Sorry I'm not an HVAC guy but I do know a few of them which have taught me the basics.

Well the acoustic ducting is basically ridged foil ducting with fibreglass. So both types are ridged that i have, i was just wondering if the acoustic ducting would be worse for airflow? Also i cant reduce the amount of bends, but would adding elbow joints increase airflow, instead of just bending the ducting?
